A celebrity-backed vodka company is suffering a massive hangover as it is embroiled in a vicious $15 million court battle. Investor Joseph Lehey has filed a complaint alleging that he poured $7.5 million into the Madea Vodka brand but that its creators squandered money on their own salaries, instead of developing the swanky brand. Meanwhile, the defendants – scientist Dr Tim Goldburt and co-founders Matt Sandy and David Perillo – allege in court documents that Lehey is “a desperate, irrational and potentially violent individual, who has engaged in threats of physical violence” against them. The luxury liquor has become popular in elite circles for its hi-tech bottle, which displays glowing personalised messages of up to 240 characters. It flaunts celebs like Jon Bon Jovi, Fran Drescher and Meryl Streep on its website and boasts “Wi-Fi-capable, electronically-powered illuminated display”.

One Direction star Zayn Malik has reportedly been secretly dating Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards. Former X Factor star Zayn has been getting cosy with current hopeful Perrie after meeting her backstage at the talent competition studios. The boyband star, who previously dated Rebecca Ferguson after last year’s show, is said to have started seeing Edwards after sharing a steamy encounter following One Direction’s performance on The X Factor last month. The pair were also seen cuddling up when One Direction and Little Mix both filmed the video to the programme’s charity single last weekend. A source told British newspaper The Sun: “Zayn has got in there first but Niall is obsessed with her too. They met her on the video shoot and have both been trying to win her over.” The source added: “They plan to come out as a couple after The X Factor has finished.”

X Factor judge Tulisa’s boyfriend and N-Dubz bandmate Fazer has opened up about their secret romance — and revealed that they have been talking about starting a family. Fazer, real name Richard Rawson, told UK magazine Heat that he wants to have children with the 23-year-old singer in the future. He said: “We’ll definitely have kids one day. I’ve always wanted children for as long as I can remember. You can just imagine them running around your feet like Mini-Me’s.” He added that in the meantime, they’re happy to practise their parenting skills by looking after fellow band member Dappy’s two kids. “It’s great because Dappy has Milo and Gino, so we can just play with them, then give them back when they get a bit annoying. It’s definitely something I want one day, though,” he said. Speaking about the increased level of attention his girlfriend’s been getting from men since she joined the X Factor’s judging panel, the 24-year-old musician says he takes the potential competition as a compliment. He said: “I love it that guys fancy her. It’s far better than them saying, ‘Fazer, what the f*** are you doing with her?’ It’s good.”

The musical will open in Hamburg in November 2012, with the Klitschko brothers and Stallone acting as co-producers and training the actors, who have yet to be cast, in boxing skills. Speaking at a press conference Stallone, 65, said: “To see this story coming to life on a musical stage makes me proud. And it would make Rocky proud.” The story about an amateur boxer given a chance at a championship bout will feature hits from the 1976 film including Gonna Fly Now. Vladimir said: “Seeing Sylvester Stallone in Rocky when we were kids actually was the reason for us to start boxing in the first place. “We are very excited to support this theatrical project.”

Jack Osbourne believes that his rocker dad Ozzy will outlive him. His prediction comes after Ozzy, 62, found out that he is as fit as a 30-year-old man at a recent medical, and now Jack reckons he’ll live to be 900. “He’s great. He always has physicals and last time the doctor said he was as fit as a 30-year-old, that’s pretty good going for a 62-year-old man who’s had a wild life. He’s happy about that,” Jack told Star magazine. “Motorbikes can’t kill him, drugs can’t kill him. He’s one of those guys who will live to like, 900 years old, and still be complaining about everything and laughing. We joke that he’s going to outlive me.” Jack — who is expecting his first child with fiancée Lisa Stelly — also revealed that while making a recent documentary about his dad, they avoided spending too much quality time together for the sake of their relationship. “I didn’t actually spend that much one-on-one time with my dad. My new documentary is one thing but sacrificing our relationship for the sake of entertainment is not something I’m into any more. “We gave up so much doing The Osbournes with certain moments between me and my dad.”

X Factor contestant Frankie Cocozza has reportedly been kicked off the show. The Sun newspaper reports that the 18-year-old broke a ‘golden rule’ of the show and will no longer be competing. It is not yet known what the reason for his axing is but he’s said to be upset about the news. A source told the newspaper: “Frankie is devastated but he has broken a golden rule so producers had no option but to axe him. He had an extra boost from being kept in at the weekend when he thought he was going to go. “But now his dream is officially over and he only has himself to blame.” A statement from The X Factor has now been released. Frankie said: “I’d like to apologise to Gary, my fellow contestants and everyone who has voted for me, but, as of today [Tues Nov 8], I will no longer be in The X Factor. “My life during the show has gone out of control and my behaviour off stage has over-stepped the rules of the competition. I no longer deserve my place in the show, so I am therefore leaving. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me.” A spokesperson for the show added: “Frankie is leaving the show today after breaking competition rules. He is going to take some time out before continuing his career as a singer. We wish him all the best for his future.”

Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance and performance at the Continental Club in Austin, Texas recently. The 48-year old actor, who was in town to premiere “The Rum Diary” at the Austin Film Festival, jammed with ZZ Top guitarist Billy Gibbons and musician Bill Carter for a 90-minute concert. People reports that the attendance for the show was triple the capacity of the venue and that the crowd went absolutely nuts for Johnny. When does the crowd not go nuts when he’s involved? And considering how rare he does these shows, I would have fainted if I was there for it.

Daughtry has recently premiered the music video for their new single “Crawling Back to You” via VEVO. The track is the first official cut from the rock band’s upcoming album “Break the Spell”, which is due out on November 21st. I enjoyed their first album but not so much the follow up, so I’m really interested in the music that they’ll deliver on this new record. I’m just hoping that they deliver a little more rock for their hardcore fans because “Crawling Back to You” sounds more pop than anything. As for the video it’s a super simplistic performance video with different camera angles thrown in to make it interesting.

When asked who he thinks will be responsible for the future of rock ‘n’ roll, Liam said: “My children. They will be responsible. My little boy, Gene, is a drummer. He had his first concert a few days ago at school . He played in front of 200 people. ” Although he would be delighted for the two boys to pursue a musical career, Liam Gallagher said that he would not push them from behind to take this path.

Aerosmith was set to have a concert in Paraguay this week but unfortunately, the event was cancelled abruptly as lead singer Steven Tyler suffered an injury after falling in the shower. As a result of the fall, the rock star reportedly knocked out several teeth. The injury may not seem serious but it’s going to be hard singing when your mouth is numb from whatever medication he’ll be given to take away the pain of getting his teeth knocked out. And would anyone really want to see him open his toothless mouth for concertgoers? I’m sure they’ll reschedule to make up for it.

Even if fans prefer more intimate concerts in order to be able to see their idols up close, there are artists who are afraid of concerts in small spaces. Chris Martin, lead singer of the band Coldplay, fears that fans can feel the smell of his sweat when he’s on stage. Chris Martin said in an interview that he’d rather play in a stadium than in a small space, because he does not want the audience to feel bad odors coming from the stage. “In a restricted space, people can smell you better, which is a bad thing,” admitted Chris Martin. “On the stadium is in some ways, easier, because no one will feel offended because of the smell you emanate” he said. Despite this, the musician says he prefers more intimate concerts when he wants to see his favorite artists.

Pete Doherty will not get behind bars. The police have decided that the artist was too drunk to commit a robbery. Pete Doherty will not be locked down after the robbery he was involved in Germany earlier this year. The police decided that the artist was very drunk and could not commit a theft. The singer was released from prison earlier this summer, after he served the penalty for possession of cocaine. He will be under surveillance the next five years.

Snow Patrol is back on the scene with a new song called “This Isn’t Everything You Are”. The song comes off of the Irish alternative rock band’s forthcoming album “Fallen Empires”, due out on November 14th. The music video has also recently premiered via VEVO. It was filmed in the beautiful city of Buenos Aires in Argentina and it mainly sees Snow Patrol as the house act at a tango club, and witnessing the picturesque nightlife of the South American country’s capital. It’s a simple clip but the beauty of the country definitely takes my breath away. What do you think?

Foster the People were on hand to perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this week. The American indie rock band took center stage to perform their massive US hit “Pumped Up Kicks”. Lead singer Mark Foster was amazing on this performance. He definitely has a unique voice. In other news, “Pumped Up Kicks” remains at the #3 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 and is still within the top 10 on iTunes USA. That’s amazing! They don’t even need to sell albums, they can live off of the revenues of this single alone. Congratulations guys! And again, great job on the performance!

Korn announced that they will release their tenth studio album, ‘The Path of Totality’ on 6th of December. But this is one atypical album for the band Korn. The Path of Totality is an experimental album where Korn change their style and are exploring new territories. This sure sounds like a shock for all hardcore fans of the band. Korn appeared on the scene in the ’90s and managed to create a unique hard rock image since the beginning.
For the album ‘The Path of Totality’, the band collaborated with some of the biggest producers of electronic and dubstep world. On the list of producers we find names such as: Skrillex, Excision, Datsik, Noisia, Kill the Noise and 12th Planet.

Why do I not live in Brazil, or at least have the time and money to travel to Rio de Janeiro? Lucky concertgoers got to watch Maroon 5 play a mini concert at the Rock in Rio music festival this past Saturday. I’m not sure that the rock band deserved the main stage status but I have to say that they did not disappoint when given the opportunity. It was a very interactive and energetic show. Among the songs they performed were “Moves Like Jagger”, “This Love” and “She Will Be Loved”. Seriously, why couldn’t I have been there live?

X Factor bosses have hired a chef to stop the contestants from putting on weight in the house, according to reports. Judge Gary Barlow, 40, was already making sure his acts were fit for the competition by hiring a nutritionist to help Craig Colton shed the pounds. And now Tulisa Contostavlos, 23, Kelly Rowland, 30, and Louis Walsh, 59, have decided that they want to make sure their acts also stay healthy by getting bosses to hire professional chef Andy Goodyear. Goodyear will cook the meals at the X Factor house and he told British newspaper the Daily Star: “They are going to get proper, good food.” A source added: “The show is a lot of pressure anyway, so it’s good that this is one thing they don’t have to worry about.”
