Kanye West announce an upcoming Kanye & Jay-Z joint album entitled called “Watch the Throne”. Kanye West posted on his official blog this new song entitled “Monster” featuring Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj and indie artist Bon Iver.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Bono met in the politician’s Black Sea resort last week to talk about music and charity. The President, who happens to be a huge rock and roll fan, said “You are doing important things, because taking care of people is not only a job for politicians.” They also discussed problems in Africa, specifically the desperate measures being taken to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and bringing the population out of poverty. Bono wasn’t shy in suggesting things and told the President that spending 40 cents per day could eliminate the transfer of HIV from mother to child by 2015. Medvedev obviously has a lot of respect for the singer as he said “The charity work that you and your colleagues do has brought you respect all over the world.” U2 will be playing a concert in Russia as part of their tour.

Recently, Rihanna has recorded with David Guetta the song “Adrenalin Rush” which will be included on Rihanna’s future album. It seems that “Adrenalin Rush” will be a dance song, David Guetta is known for giving an original sound to songs.
Lil Wayne has filed a lawsuit against his former booking agents for allegedly holding back $375,000 in tour profits. The currently incarcerated rapper is claiming that the owners of Ujaama Talent Agency owe him money from two of his America’s Most Wanted Festivals in 2009. Lil Wayne asked them for the money before filing the lawsuit but they didn’t comply with the request. He doesn’t make any money while he’s in jail so I guess that Lil Wayne is learning the importance of a dollar, which is why he filed the lawsuit. Go get them Weezy – assuming you’re telling the truth.
Kanye West announced Sunday on Twitter that from now, every Friday, he will release a new song. This promotion project is called “GOOD Fridays. “I know you need music so I will release one new song every weekend until Christmas.”.
“Could be a song of mine, may be a new track from Jay etc … we’re playing a completely different game now, it’s about the fans. Without holdbacks” he added. Kanye West recently released a new single, “Power”, and is preparing to release a new material.
