It seems that a Norwegian rapper by the name of Omer Bhatti has recently stepped forth to the home of the Jackson clan where Katherine Jackson is raising Michael Jackson’s three children claiming he is the long lost son of the late king of pop and that he is the children’s new father. This is what a source related on the matter: “Prince has been particularly vulnerable to Omer and his claims. He’s starting to believe Omer’s claims that Michael is his father. Omer has told the children he has changed his name from Omar Jamal Bhatti to Omar Michael Bhatti.” Things just keep getting weirder and weirder at that house… it would be no surprise if it soon turns into a mansion haunted by the spirit of Michael Jackson given how many things seem to go wrong there over time.
It looks like the guys from Metallica really know how to build up the spirits of their fans. During their recent show in Bogata, Columbia there were a bunch of riots by people who were trying to force their way into the concert that resulted with 160 arrests and 8 injuries. A police officer present at the event related the following: “Those people that did not get in wanted to get in by force. The presence of police and riot teams was necessary because these misfits – there’s no other name for them – damaged some windows in the surrounding area.” Interesting how the Columbian police are so protective of their windows. Still, whatever happened to the good old days when you could just climb the trees near the stage and see the band without having a ticket? Surely the guys from Metallica would mind that especially opposed to a bunch of people trying to break into their concert.
Actress Jessica Biel has said she loves her boyfriend Justin Timberlake’s mum Lynn.
Biel, 27, recently attended the premiere of a documentary that followed her recent climb up Mount Kilimanjaro, Summit on the Summit: Kilimanjaro.
Talking about JT’s mum Lynn Harless, she said: “I love Lynn. Lynn is the most wonderful woman. I am so in love with her.”
Harless recently praised Biel at a New York fashion show.
She said of Jessica Biel: “She’s amazing. She’s so down-to-earth and her family is great.”
Harless had said she was impressed with Biel’s determination to get fit for her recent climb.
She said: “Jessica Biel was at my house around Christmas and there was this crazy noise coming from my gym. [She] had the treadmill to the highest level and was running with a 40lb backpack. I want to be her when I grow up!”
It will probably still prove to be prison time, but not the community type. It seems DMX has been a very, very bad boy lately and he got himself arrested for consuming illegal drugs and violating other terms of his probation. So since he’s facing jail, DMX decided it would be more prudent to contact Dr. Drew and get himself on Celebrity Rehab instead of jail. And it seems the guys from the show are actually going to send someone to talk to the judge to allow DMX to go to the show instead of prison. And this is how the rapper dodges the bullet… and who knows, Celebrity Rehab might actually be more fun than he expects.
The guys did not outshine the girls of American Idol this week but I have to give kudos to a couple of them who definitely stepped it up from their previous performances. Lee Dewyze sang Owl City’s ‘Fireflies’. While he may not be the best singer, he is getting better. He just needs to get his pitch under control. Alex Lambert sang ‘Trouble’ and showed off the unique quality of his vocals. Tim Urban finally sang on key with Jeff Buckley’s ‘Hallelujah’. He picked a great song and sang it with great emotion. Andrew Garcia fell short with Christina Aguilera’s ‘Genie in a Bottle’ but you could tell he was trying. Casey James sang Keith Urban’s ‘You’ll Think of Me’. I think he does much better with the country vibe. Aaron Kelly has to be the worst of the night as he was all over the place with ‘I’m Already There’. Todrick did Queen’s ‘Somebody to Love’ with a gospel vibe that most likely didn’t sit well with a lot of people. Best performance overall including the girls goes to Mike Lynch who sang Maxwell’s ‘This Woman’s Work’. That definitely blew everyone away!
It seems that Mariah Carey is not short of being a very, very big Woody Allen fan… and she’s not shy about admitting it. This is what Mariah Carey said on the matter: “I’ve never met him, but Bullets Over Broadway is one of my favorite movies ever. I can quote every word. I think it’s amazing.” Well, well, isn’t Mariah Carey quite the geek. And it certainly does look like she’s trying to swap her musical career for something with a little more glitz and glamour in it. It’s nice to see that even a diva like Mariah Carey still has something to aspire to.
The singer recently admitted that bad breath is the most effective turn-off she could possibly think of. This is what Joss Stone said on the matter: “There’s nothing worse than bad breath. I’ve snogged people with bad breath who smelt of fags and beer and it made me feel sick.” That probably says one or two things about her former boyfriend, Beau Dozier. And also it might be a bit of a heads up that Joss Stone is trying to give future suitors. Interesting how some celebrities use the news as a form of dating info service. Hopefully the next runner up will not disappoint Joss Stone.
It looks like this thing with Billy Corgan just won’t blow away, at least as far as Jessica Simpson is concerned. Even if she was dating someone a little while back and was apparently over her make-believe romance with Billy Corgan, the singer spoke about the Smashing Pumpkins front man once more and this is what she said: “I can’t find good enough words to speak about Billy. He’s a very, very dear friend. For him to give his time and his talents and share them with me, it was a great experience. And I hope we can do more music together.” Well, it’s pretty clear Jessica Simpson has been smitten pretty hard… knocked over the head-like. Hopefully she and Billy Corgan will indeed make more “music” together… at least for the sake of her peace of mind.
The rapper will not only be coming back, but he will be coming back in a very big way. It looks like Ice Cube plans on reuniting with Dr. Dre on his upcoming album, “I am the west”. This is what the rapper wrote on the matter on his blog: “I wanna answer a few questions you have for ya’ boy – Beats by Dre? Not yet. Haven’t asked him, but I will. Any collabos? Not yet. I would give you guys the concept but I’mma save that and let you see it for yourself. Now I know it seems like my record is West Coast crazy- Yeah it is. But I got a lot of real shit to say on this record just like I always do. So my political fans won’t be disappointed.” Well, none of Ice Cube’s fans will probably be disappoint it. After all, what reason would Dr. Dre have to turn his old war-buddy down? It’s not like he’s got anything better to do.
The lead singer of the band the Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl, has recently announced that they are beginning to work on their seventh studio album. Dave said “Foo Fighters have just started writing and we’re going to start recording in September so life is full of music.” Let’s hope for the best and get ready for the worst since their last albums haven’t really be as good as their earlier stuff. Dave has also been performing with the band Them Crooked Vultures, a super group with Queens of Stone Age member Josh Homme and Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones. I hope Dave can bring the interesting sound from his side project onto the new Foo Fighters album.
It looks like the forces that be are trying to send Michael Lohan a warning about his not so honorable ways… either that or Lindsay Lohan found a very, very good voodoo witch. Whatever the case, her father had a bit of a scare recently due to a pre-stroke he apparently had. His new girlfriend related the following about what happened: “He had chest pains all day and pains down his left arm.” Apparently Michael Lohan is fine now and he’s going to think really long and really hard about what he’s done… but he’ll probably forget all about that in a week or two. It looks like Lindsay Lohan didn’t pay the witch enough.
It looks like the singer from Smashing Pumpkins likes to play with fire… a lot. He recently commented on the new Hole album and on the band’s key member, Courtney Love. This is what Billy Corgan said: I have no interest in supporting her in any way, shape or form. You can’t throw enough things down the abyss with a person like that.” Oh contraire… Courtney Love is actually a walking abyss that eats everything up and spits out explosions. One would shudder to think what she will have to say to Billy Corgan after his unflinching defiance… or maybe even do.
Simon Cowell, 50, would have no trouble scoring himself a nine – in the bedroom.
Cowell, strongly rumoured to be newly engaged, has boasted to Piers Morgan: “I’m a nine out of 10 bed” in an ITV-1 television interview that aired in Britain over the weekend.
Cowell’s rumoured fiancee, Mezhgan Hussainy, is a 36-year-old makeup artist on American Idol and a former refugee from Afghanistan.
Cowell, the top-earning US television star known for his cynicism, revealed a touchingly romantic side. He called Hussainy “the one”, opening up to his co-judge Morgan: “She’s very special. You know when you’ve found somebody very special.”
The Sun newspaper reports Cowell, worth an estimated £120 million, gave Hussainy a £250,000 sparkler and sought her parents’ blessing for their reportedly upcoming marriage.
Rapper J-Kwon, most known for his 2004 single ‘Tipsy’, has reportedly been missing for almost a month. His label, Gracie Productions, recently released a statement which said “J-Kwon is a big part of the Gracie family, and we are obviously increasingly worried and want to make sure he is OK. We’ve already received thousands of e-mails from fans and supporters who are worried about J-Kwon, and we want everyone to know how much we appreciate the love and support. If anyone has seen J-Kwon or has access to him, please let him know we are worried about him, and to please let us know everything is OK.” His label has set up a Twitter page so fans with any info can contact them.
The way things are going in Michael Jackson’s family, you could swear he was drawing all of the media attention so that nobody would notice it while he was alive. It looks like Jermaine Jackson’s son, Jaafar Jackson, recently bought himself a stun gun. The boy is only thirteen years old, so how could this happen? Well, it looks like the Jackson estate is currently populated by Katherine Jackson and Jermaine Jackson’s former wife who have to take care of nine kids. Certainly Michael Jackson’s mother has her experience backing her up, but she’s not as young as she used to be… so the end result, little Jaafar gets a stun gun, which he can use to hog all of the good stuff whenever any of his brothers or cousins aren’t sharing fairly.
The singer who is currently touring in Australia announced at her latest show that her daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was going to be celebrating her 17th year and Whitney Houston dedicated her daughter’s favorite song to her, even though it wasn’t in the program… and despite some of her last performances, the crowd was pretty impressed with her. But the surprises weren’t over. This is what a source related about Whitney Houston’s birthday plans for her daughter: “They rented a beautiful boat and took a four-hour cruise all around Sydney Harbor with Krissy’s friends, the dancers and family members. That was the pre-birthday celebration. The cake at the concert was a complete surprise to Krissy. She had no idea!” Now there’s a way to make a birthday special. And no cars or expensive gifts and parties required… well, just a little cruise. But Whitney Houston could probably teach a thing or two to some others about their children.
Despite a few health problems that might have prevented her from performing last night, the American Idol contestant clearly demonstrated that this old bird is not licked yet. Her rendition of “Long As I Can See the Light” by Creedence Clearwater Revival pretty much knocks the judges off their seats… even the infamous Simon Cowell admits to it: “I completely misunderestimated you from last week. … This was like the moment we realized with Kelly Clarkson that we’ve got a really serious artist here.” Misunderstimated? What devious plans are running through the Earl of Exigency’s head one must wonder… but whatever they are, it does look like, at least for this week, Crystal Bowersox is safer than any other of the female contestants.
Travis Barker has paid tribute to his late pal DJ AM by having a tattoo in his honour.
The Blink 182 star recently posted a picture of the new tattoo on his Twitter page after it was completed by celebrity tattooist Mister Cartoon.
Barker, 34, was close friends with DJ AM and they became united in grief when they survived a plane crash in 2008 that left two people dead.
But in August last year, AM, whose full name was Adam Goldstein, died of an accidental drug overdose and reports claimed he had a relapse following the crash.
Bret Michaels has released a new single called ‘Nothing to Lose’. In the track, Poison’s lead singer teams up with Miley Cyrus, singing the chorus together. Disney’s reigning teen queen said “Bret and I had a great time in the studio together just hanging out and making music. He’s is so passionate about music and it shows. I think it is such a rad collaboration because it shows that two artists that seem so different on the outside can come together and organically create something that we are both proud of.” She’s probably the only one who thinks that because everyone else thinks that the song is inappropriate with lyrics about wanting to undress Miley. That’s just creepy.
Quite the fair amount of determination on their behalf it seems… the Pussycat Dolls singer and the formula one driver are absolutely determined to make this relationship work out the second time around. This is what Lewis Hamilton said on the matter: “She’s away focusing on her album and she’s got a couple of pretty cool things coming up. If she can come and she surprises me then fantastic, but I know that she’s got work so maybe next time. You make it work, you do all you can, you know? When something is worth it, you do it.” Right… how come it wasn’t worth it the first time? Maybe the races aren’t so hot this year so why not try to give it another shot with Nicole Scherzinger… ironically, she might turn out to be the one who’s going to call it off on account of work.
