Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine recently revealed that when he and the band start to tour in support of their new album ‘Hands All Over’, they will be joining the list of talent boycotting Arizona due to the new immigration laws. Adam said “I did an interview in Tucson on the radio. [The host] asked about playing there. I said it was a really difficult decision to make because we have fans out there that are being penalized essentially by us not playing, so it’s a really difficult decision to make. It really kind of comes down to what feels right, and it really didn’t feel right to play there and reward Arizona for what we thought was a really bad decision. We’re just citizens. It’s always good to look at everything that we’re talking about, discussing, debating or standing up for as an issue, not to grandstand, necessarily, our beliefs, but kind of just follow our hearts, as cheesy as that sounds, and say, ‘Look, this is how I feel, so I’m going to do this.’” It’s not cheesy when it’s the right thing to do.
After performing just 3 songs on Friday, the Kings of Leon decided to cancel their concert because of unsanitary conditions at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in St. Louis, Missouri. Bassist Jared Followill reportedly got pigeon poop right by his mouth. Their opening acts The Postelles and The Stills complained about the pigeon situation, the Kings of Leon didn’t want to cancel at such a late time. Jared said “We couldn’t believe what The Postelles and The Stills looked like after their sets. We didn’t want to cancel the show, so we went for it. We tried to play [but] it was ridiculous.” After the cancelled show, drummer Nathan Followill went on his Twitter explaining the situation and that there will be full refunds for everyone who went to the concert. A rep for the band also said “Jared was hit several times during the first two songs. On the third song, when he was hit in the cheek and some of it landed near his mouth, they couldn’t deal any longer. It’s not only disgusting — it’s a toxic health hazard. They really tried to hang in there. We want to apologize to our fans in St. Louis and will come back as soon as we can.”
Rihanna is preparing for a debut in the movie world. She will have a role to play in “Battleship” produced by Universal Pictures. Rihanna’s spokesman confirmed for E! Online, that the artist already signed a contract to play in this movie. It is not known yet what part will Rihanna play exactly, but we know that her colleagues will be Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsgard. The movie will be directed by Peter Berg and it will be released on the 18th of May 2012 in the United States.
The Columbian singer Juanes, became the first artist that sings in Spanish, that will appear in the new version of the game Rock Star. Six of Juanes’s songs, including “Yerbatero” and “Me Enamora”, will be included in the third version of the game. The game will be released in October this year. “ I’m very content to be the first artist singing in Spanish, included in Rock Band. I can’t wait for my fans to sing along with me in this game” said the artist. In the game Rock Band, fans can sing along with their idol. Amongst the celebrities included in this new version of the game there is: Ozzy Osbourne, Queen, The Doors, The White Stripes etc.
Justin Bieber’s first major role will be in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. He will appear in an episode and play the role of a troubled teenager, who will have to make a terrible decision regarding his brother. According to the news, Justin’s role is not going to be a minor one. The decision his character will make will be a major one. CBS declared they chose Justin because he is a phenomenon. A few other singer were invited to play in CSI before. Two of them are Taylor Swift and John Mayer. The episode starring Justin is unknown yet, but we know that the 11th series will be released this autumn.
T.I. wants a comeback on the music scene after being released from prison, and for the future he’s hoping for a collaboration with Lady Gaga. The rapper, who joined Rihanna, Usher and Justin Timberlake in the tops, wants a duet with Lady Gaga on the song “Lick It”. “Even if it is a strange combination, I believe that we both are able to approach other music genres. I respect her , especially for trying to be different” said T.I. The rapper spent most of last year in prison, after being charged with illegal gun possession.
Law enforcement sources revealed that Foxy Brown has been arrested in New York. The female rapper was taken into custody just after 6PM ET this past Wednesday for allegedly violating a protective order. It’s been said that one of Foxy’s neighbors had an order requiring the rapper to keep her distance but Foxy allegedly violated it by verbally engaging the neighbor. Didn’t she just get out of prison? Foxy needs to stay out of trouble if she wants to stay as far away from prison as possible. It makes me wonder what the fight was all about to get Foxy riled up.

The first pictures from the shooting of the video can be found already on the internet. The shootings for the video took place on Wednesday in Los Angeles. The video clip is going to be incendiary… Literally! When you’ll look at the pictures you’ll know what I mean. The important thing is that both the song “Love The Way You Lie” and Eminem’s “Recovery” album occupies first positions in U.S. charts.
Sean Kingston was accused of sexually assaulting a couple of drunken women in a hotel in Seattle earlier this month but the cops determined that the case wasn’t credible because of a couple of discrepancies in the stories. While people are blasting the hip hop singer about the allegations, he is claiming innocence. Sean told sources that all the stuff about assaulting someone was just a rumor. That’s his story and I guess he’s going to stick to it. Here’s to hoping that it’s the truth and this doesn’t get ugly any time soon. I wish him the best of luck if he is innocent.
Former Spice Girl Mel B has assured fans that her new TV show will be exciting.
Mel was recently spotted in Los Angeles hula-hooping as she filmed scenes for the programme.
The show, titled The Mel B Project, will follow her and husband Stephen Belafonte’s life as well as daughters, Phoenix, 11, and Angel, 3.
The ten episode series will be shown in the U.S. on the Style Network and Mel promises that it will be worth watching.
She told British Newspaper The Daily Star: “I’m not exactly going to be Miss Goody Two Shoes and play it completely by the book. I’m going to be me. I love the work I do.
“I couldn’t do a nine-to-five. I respect people who do it, but that could never be me. I like to work odd hours.”
The 35-year-old added: “I like to wake up at 11pm and if I’ve got a song in my head, go to the studio and record it, then go back to bed, and then wake up the kids and take them to school. That’s the kind of life I like to live. A very creative life.”

Take That members announced recently that they will release a new album and they will go on a world tour together with their former colleague, Robbie Williams. Gary Barlow met Queen Elizabeth II at the beginning of this year to talk about concert details with Her. This will be a special concert, to honor the Queen. The date will also mark the anniversary of 60 years since she is on throne of Great Britain.
Lady Gaga donated an “artwork” to an online shop, Showstudio. The piece was exposed in an exhibition in London. The work of art is in fact a white urinal, that has an inscription in black on the inside of it. The urinal, also named Armitage Shanks, was used by Lady Gaga during a photo shoot for the Vogue Hommes Japan pictorial, where she was playing a man. The inscription inside the urinal refers to Marcel Duchamp, an artist who used a urinal for one of his creations named “Fountain”. The piece is not for sale, at least not yet.
Eminem and Rihanna will shoot this week the video for “Love The Way You Lie”. According to director Joseph Kahn the shootings will start tomorrow, on Tuesday. The two artists recorded the song together for Eminem’s new album “Recovery”. “I just finished talking on the phone. I have to shoot a video, urgently. I have to write and provide the scenario in three hours. We will shoot it on Tuesday” said Kahn on Twitter. Eminem wants to shoot another video, this time for the song “No Love”. For this song he collaborated with Lil Wayne.For the future Eminem plans a collaboration with Wu Tang Clan.
The band Aerosmith will continue their tour, even if guitarist Joe Perry suffered multiple injuries during a motorcycle accident last week. 59 years old Perry was transported to the hospital, treated and then discharged. Tom Hamilton, the band’s bassist declared that the North American tour will start on 23rd of July in California, as it was set, and Joe Perry will join the band. Hamilton declared to Fox 25 News that Perry is feeling well. He is a little tired, but he is well generally speaking, and can’t wait to begin the tour.

The singer, who is a strict vegetarian, was not impressed when he learned that there were pictures of him and his Beatles bandmates hanging in a McDonald’s restaurant in their home town of Liverpool.
It is claimed that more than 12 shots were hanging at the restaurant in Sefton Street, according to UK newspaper Daily Star.
