Prince Goes Back to Columbia

The artist formerly known as TAFKAP, currently known as Prince, has signed back with Columbia Records. Prince’s last relationship with Columbia was for the release of his 2004 album ‘Musicology’. His 2006 album ‘3121’ was distributed by Universal Records.
Columbia will be distributing his upcoming album ‘Planet Earth’ which is due out on July 24. Shortly after that, Prince will kick off his world tour on the 1st of August with 21 consecutive shows in London, 15 of which sold out in record time with the last 6 to go on sale next week.
I guess things are looking good for the renewed partnership. So far.
