Mick Jagger is backing his son James’ dream to be an actor – after he finally let his dad watch him perform. The Rolling Stones frontman had been banned by his 21-year-old son from watching his stage debut in one-act comedies Lone Star and Private Wars at London fringe theatre the King’s Head. I love the Rolling Stones, the way they play to the crowds and the atmosphere that surrounds their enigma and aura is simply something to see to believe. If James can prove to be even half as successful as his famous father has been for more than 2 and a half decades then he would have accomplished more than what he has set out to do. But there should be no comparisons at all, the competition that James would be facing today is entirely different form what Mick might have faced during the early formation days of the band, and to his advantage the way media and entertainment stands today it give James a whole new world to explore. Just hope James doesn’t act and behave like his dad.
