Somebody Sign Them – Locksley

What is it with record companies not signing incredibly amazing bands yet still keep Britney Spears on their pay roll? Take Locksley for example.
The male-fronted band may sound like they’re from the UK but they’re actually from Brooklyn by way of Wisconsin. Their Beatles influence is undeniable though. Just think of them like a new and improved version of The Strokes. They’re taking garage sound to a whole new level.
Their songs are high in energy, incredibly fun and completely infectious. And to think that none of them are longer than 2 minutes and 40 seconds! They’ve released their album themselves, without a major record deal.
Who needs a deal when you can still get good music out there anyway? Locksley Rocks!
