Franz quit their pricey pop plans
Franz Ferdinand’s bid to go pop has gone bust after they scrapped pricey sessions with Girls Aloud’s producer.
Frontman Alex Kapranos and the band turned to Brian Higgins for some gloss. But with his bill running into five figures a source said: “The sessions didn’t pan out as expected.”
Franz have now switched to Dan Carey, who co-wrote Kylie’s hit, Slow.
Can’t wait for the result.
