Roadie Replacement for Gin Blossoms

Talk about getting a chance of a lifetime. A roadie for the Gin Blossoms got a taste of fame at Summerfest this past week. Bassist Bill Leen passed out cold during the last song of their set which called for a replacement. The band actually finished the song with their so-called new bassist while Bill just laid there. What, they couldn’t take a break to call for help? Anyway, the roadie came back out on stage for the encore performance of ‘Follow You Down’. I wonder if Bill woke up in the middle of a song and wondered just what the heck was happening.
