Pete Doherty is Inspiring

Who would have thought that Pete Doherty is actually good for something? Madonna’s hubby Guy Ritchie is admitting that a character from his new film ‘RocknRolla’ is actually based on the troubled rocker. In the film, a painting falls into the hands of rock star Johnny Story, the problematic musician inspired by Pete. He’s hiding out in a crack den after being declared dead and finds himself caught in the middle of a battle between the Russian mob and the London underworld. Guy said “At the time I was writing it, Pete Doherty was everywhere. It’s either genius marketing or a happy – or unhappy – accident. It’s creative self-destruction in the sense that he’s doing it creatively.”
