Paul McCartney surprises The Killers
At the recently held Europe MTV Music Awards which were held in Liverpool ‘The Killers’ had a surprise visit from someone donning the mask of Alice Cooper. The band’s front man Brandon Flowers was virtually speechless when the man under the Alice Cooper mask turned out to be Sir Paul McCartney.
Brandon said: “We were waylaid in the corridor by someone on the way back to the dressing room – it was Paul McCartney and he was wearing an Alice Cooper mask. He was dancing around and then he took it off and introduced himself.”
Stunned Brandon could not utter a word thinking what could to probably say or react when a icon like Sir Paul has just bamboozled. They all just managed to hold on for a minute or two before blasting into laughter and soon they were all chatting. Paul McCartney appreciated the bands performance and told them of the same personally during their chat.
Brandon also said “Meeting a Beatle was daunting. People in Britain know what an important band they were. But when you come from the States that feeling is magnified. They were untouchable.” Well hope ‘The Killers’ had a good time.
