American Idol Scott McIntyre is lucky being alive
Scott McIntyre may have been booted out from American Idol last week but he considers himself lucky to even be alive at this very moment. Scott McIntyre holds the title of being the first blind contestant of the American Idol but it seems he also holds title to being the first American Idol contestant who has undergone and survived a kidney transplant.
Scott McIntyre said being able to finish eight in the very competitive American Idol talent search where over 110,000 tried out is already incredible. He seems to be a very lucky person indeed because aside form overcoming blindness he has also survived a kidney transplant and on top of that was even given the chance to make it to the Top 13 of American Idol. Scott McIntyre said he did not reveal his transplant for fear that it might affect the voting but now that he’s out he feels fine talking about it.
