Black Eyed Peas manager charged with assault
The band has apparently been unable to leave Canada until their manager turned himself in after assaulting Perez Hilton. It seems that the Black Eyed Peas’ manager together with wll.i.am gave the blogger a good beating at a nightclub because of an earlier altercation he had with Fergie. In a video statement, Perez Hilton admitted that he incited the whole thing due to his reaction toward will.i.am: “He was like, ‘You need to respect me.’ He was obviously trying to intimidate me and scare me. I was like, ‘I don’t respect you’ and I did say this – and I knew that it would be the worst thing I could possibly say to him because he was acting the way he was – I said, ‘You know what, I don’t respect you and you’re gay and stop being such a faggot.’” Maybe the manager just wanted to take in the sights of Canada and didn’t know how to detain
