Krist Novoselic’s new career

The former bassist of famous grunge rock band Nirvana seems to have taken a shine to the political life recently. After releasing a record of his own and running for a position in his home county in Washington state, Krist Novoselic is now focusing all of his energies on an alternative voting system in another county. Speaking about politics, the Nirvana musician said: “Politics is just organizing people toward common goals, and I feel like I’m doing a lot of good work. It takes a while but you have successes and you have setbacks.” I wonder what Kurt Cobain would’ve thought about his politician-turned bandmate. But, if the cause is good, Krist Novoselic probably has all of his blessings. Yet, with politicians, that’s always a big “if”.
