Michael Jackson concert T-shirts and paraphernalia to go on sale
Moves are already afoot to sell merchandise from Michael Jackson’s ill-fated concert tour.
The late king of pop helped to design a T-shirt and other paraphernalia to drive the This Is It concert tour promotion.
Vendors across the US will make the items available both at outlets and on the Web.
Peter LoFrumento, a spokesman for merchandiser Bravado, said: “Michael was very adamant about not just doing T-shirts and posters and key chains. He wanted to do something special and make it really innovative and different – things that were functional and fun and that his fans would like.”
The retail includes T-shirts commemorating the first and second concerts at London’s O2 Arena. The first concert was to have been held on Monday July 13.
Jackson belt buckles, caps, sunglasses and mugs, and a varsity jacket modelled from the Thriller video, will also be available.
A website, www.michaeljacksonmerch.com, will provide information on the merchandise.
