Garth Brooks coming out of retirement
October 16th, 2009 by Evan
The country scene rejoices… unfortunately, only those that will be going to Las Vegas will get to see the famous Garth Brooks back in the saddle, so to speak. The country singer made a deal with casino owner Steve Wynn to play at the Encore Theater fifteen weeks every year. And this will be going on for about five years, if not more. And the cost for all of this was just a jet… probably to transport Garth Brooks to and from the venue… after all, any serious country singer needs to spend his time, well, in the country… not in a black hole such as Las Vegas. I wonder what happened… Garth Brooks probably didn’t take the recession into consideration when he established his retirement fund.
