Dancing with the Stars pays tribute to Michael Jackson
Dancing with the Stars honoured Michael Jackson recently as his family watched from the audience.
The dancers from the US reality TV show showcased some of the King of Pop’s moves in a special tribute that drew a standing ovation from the Jackson family, including mum Katherine and siblings Jermaine and La Toya.
Before the ballroom performance a pre-taped interview with Jermaine flashed on the screen where he lavished praise upon his brother.
“It just wasn’t about the movement, it was about the feeling. There will only be one Michael Jackson forever,” he declared.
The special choreographed tribute was introduced by LaToya Jackson wearing a daring blue gown who revealed: “Michael liked all kinds of choreography. He liked Dancing With the Stars. He was a fan of the show.”
The dancers were suitably dressed in Jackson attire, including short trousers, white socks, single white gloves and red leather jackets as they showcased their moves to songs including I Want You Back, Man in the Mirror, and Thriller.
