Katy Perry’s buzz-Twittering trap
American singer Katy Perry is exercising some Twitter restraint.
The pixie-like Perry knows her own limitations when it comes to tweeting and drinking, which is known as buzz-Twittering. She asked friends to help keep her tweeting in check if she has had one, two or a few.
She said: “Sometimes, whenever I go out – not when I’m on tour but when I’m at home and I’m out and I’m celebrating – if I have a couple of drinks my friends will take away my phone in fear of me buzz-Twittering [updating drunk] because you never know what I might say. And I’m glad they do it too.”
Perry has been keeping the passionate cross-continental company of her new beau, Russell Brand. The wild lothario’s verified Twitter handle is rustyrockets.
He recently tweeted: “I am going to @PORNDWARF tonight at Images in 483 hackney rd, it commences at 10pm. If you go you will see me, gently weeping. From my willy.” 8:28 AM Nov 21st from TwitterBerry.
