As a result of the fall, the rock star reportedly knocked out several teeth. The injury may not seem serious but it’s going to be hard singing when your mouth is numb from whatever medication he’ll be given to take away the pain of getting his teeth knocked out. And would anyone really want to see him open his toothless mouth for concertgoers? I’m sure they’ll reschedule to make up for it.

The deal was reportedly worth millions so people best be buying it! On Tuesday, the rock band’s Columbia Records catalog became available on iTunes, with the collection including 10 albums from 1973-1987. The agreement between Apple and Columbia follows in the footsteps of an earlier deal between the retailer and The Beatles’ label EMI in November 2010. According to the New York Post, Aerosmith will pull in millions from the partnership. It’s an extremely smart move on their part. I wonder who else will have their catalog on iTunes soon.

The two stars met on the stage of American Idol, when Steven was preparing to release his first solo video for the song “It Feels So Good.”
Recently, Steven Tyler said he’d even like to play with Johnny Depp on stage and that he is thinking seriously about even recording a song with the actor from “Pirates of the Caribbean”.

Liv Tyler has outed her father Steven for stealing clothes from her wardrobe. The actress revealed her Aerosmith rocker dad often rummages through her outfits and pinches pieces he likes. She told New York magazine: “My dad wears girls’ clothes – it’s so funny. And sometimes I see him and I’m like, ‘Nice shirt!’, because it’s from my closet.” Talking about his role as a judge on American Idol, Liv added that seeing him on the panel thrills her. “I speak his language, I understand what he’s talking about,” she said. “I feel really proud of him. I think he’s a really amazing, magical man and all those funny things that he says that people find so strange, my whole life I’ve been hearing them and they make me laugh.”

Tom Hamilton, the band’s bassist declared that the North American tour will start on 23rd of July in California, as it was set, and Joe Perry will join the band. Hamilton declared to Fox 25 News that Perry is feeling well. He is a little tired, but he is well generally speaking, and can’t wait to begin the tour.

The band’s guitarist told Rolling Stone magazine that the night of his gig in New York, he had no idea that Steven was at the venue nor did he know that he was going to tell the crowd that he wasn’t leaving the band. “There was all this commotion during our encore break and somebody said, ‘Steven is here.’ I was like, ‘What?’…So he came up and sang and that was the last I saw of him…He (Tyler) wants to take two years off from the band. The rest of the band wants to keep on working. We have so many different options to fill up that time. Anything is possible at this point.” Why does it seem like Joe and the rest of the band are pushing Steven out instead of him leaving?

I saw online that Steven said that he was going to leave the band. I don’t know for how long, indefinitely or whatever. The Aerosmith front man took a tumble from the stage during a concert in South Dakota last week when he started dancing to amuse the crowd during technical difficulties. Steven was able to get back on his feet but he had to leave the stage to get a medical evaluation. He was later taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment. I guess his legs just aren’t as strong as they used to be. Let’s just hope that he recuperates quickly and he stops doing those dangerous dance moves.

Even tough you’d expect Aerosmith playing after Dropkick Murphys to be like eating ice cream after pizza. Apparently the fans didn’t think so and the concert was a success. It’s strange what combinations are starting to work these days… more stranger is the fact that Steven Tyler didn’t try his handiness at one of those tin-whistles. He probably just likes to stick to his harmonica like any decent hard rocker.
