Alanis Morissette Loves Destiny’s Child

Alanis Morissette recently spoke to OK magazine and talked about running a marathon and what made her push through all the way to the finish line. The pop rock singer said “When I ran a marathon, I made an eclectic mix. ‘Survivor’ by Destiny’s Child saved my life for the last 6 miles. I just kept hitting repeat.” Who knew that Alanis was a Destiny’s Child fan? Though I do understand how that song would want you to keep on moving forward. It is pretty inspirational once you get past the fact that it’s really about a guy scorning a woman.
