Justin Bieber performed his latest single “Pray” at the 2010 American Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles this past Sunday. I have to say a huge congratulations to the 16-year old pop singer for taking home top honors, winning 4 awards for Favorite Pop Album, Breakthrough Artist, Favorite Male Pop Artist and Artist of the Year. In one of his speeches, Justin said “I want to thank Michael Jackson because without Michael Jackson, none of us would be here.” It was nice of him to remember the King of Pop even when the night was clearly his.

Rihanna Pre-AMA

Most people pace in circles and wear out carpets when they’re nervous but Rihanna isn’t ‘most people’. Then again, she might not have been nervous after all. She could have just wanted to do it.

Before picking up any award or performing at the 2007 American Music Awards, Rihanna was spotted with her friends going on a massive shopping spree in Los Angeles on Saturday. The Barbados babe and her entourage hit up Fred Segal, Madison, a body piercing and tattoo shop on Melrose and then went to the GAP at The Grove where she picked up a big shopping bag full of goodies. Rihanna even made a stop at Haagen-Dazs for an ice cream cone.
