At least at first glance the situation seems to be so. It looks like Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson are doing their best to be as normal a family as possible, at least for their little son Bronx’s sake. This is what an onlooker said about the family after observing them at a restaurant: “They definitely looked like a happy family – very chatty and smiling a lot. They were very attentive to their son.” It’s nice to see that the two have matured past the point of squabbling over petty differences and are doing the right thing by their kid. Only about twenty more years to go and then Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson can resume their old little conflicts.

This is one of those real shockers that only comes once in a while. It seems that Ashlee Simpson has recently filled for divorce from Pete Wentz. The reason cited is the classic “irreconcilable differences”, but it looks like Ashlee Simpson is not going to let Pete Wentz get off too easy: she’s asking for full custody, child support and alimony payments. This has probably hit Pete Wentz pretty hard. It looks like Ashlee Simpson didn’t react to well to that taking the family on tour idea of his. Or perhaps it was time for Ashlee Simpson to start milking Pete Wentz from a distance… after all, it’s been a few years.

Ashlee Simpson showed off her developing pregnancy curves as she was spotted leaving Ren-Mar Studios in Hollywood on Tuesday. Mrs. Wentz was there attending a taping of her husband Pete’s new MTV show called ‘FNMTV’ which hopes to save the music video. The new video show is hosted by Pete and it premiered on Friday night, June 13th. It featured a live performance by Panic at the Disco and also featured world premieres of videos from Flo Rida, the Ting Tings, Snoop Dogg and the Pussycat Dolls. Forget Pete’s show, check out the new ta-tas on Ashlee. Pete is one very lucky man.

Close friends of Jennifer Aniston are trying to figure out just what the actress sees in resident player John Mayer. The serial dater isn’t known to make long-term commitments but despite his track record, Jen is smitten like a teen girl over the guitar-playing singer. The NY Daily News may have figured out just what it is that has Jen hooked though. They say that John has a particular asset that makes the ladies forget his wandering eyes. One of his exes says that John is “hell to get over, not because he’s a great guy, but because he’s a ‘great’ guy.”

Pete Wentz and his girlfriend Ashlee Simpson were spotted at LAX airport on Saturday. The Fall Out Boy continued to hobble along in his orthopedic boot while he held hands with his girl. The bassist has been wearing a cast since he injured his ankle during a concert back in October. How long does it take for his ankle to heal?
It’s not stopping him from doing any partying though as just last week, the 23-year old Ashlee and the 28-year old Pete partied at Miami’s Pure Shore Club for New Years Eve. Pete even surprised Ashlee by playing her latest single ‘Outta My Head’ while he manned the deejay booth.
