It looks like the age of the Pussy Wagon from Lady GaGa and Beyonce’s “Telephone” music video has run its course… so naturally, Beyonce though she might try to re-liven it up a bit by relating what her mother said about the presence of that particular car in the music video. This is what the singer related on the matter: “My mom said, ‘Do you have to use that car?” Well there is certainly some level of disapproval there… but did that stop Beyonce from doing it anyway? Of course not… it probably even gave her an extra kick out of it too.

The Best of Glastonbury

Beyonce may have completely rocked as Glastonbury Festival’s headliner last night but the R&B singer was only one of the amazing performers to have brought the house down at this year’s festivities. On Friday, we saw Cee-Lo Green don a very Lady Gaga-like outfit while U2 headlined and performed several tracks from their back catalogue of hits. On Saturday, Janelle Monae showed the UK just how brilliant she is, Tinie Tempah put on a party, Jessie J showed how much of a trooper she is by performing with a plastered ankle and Coldplay closed the day with a lengthy concert. There were other great performances but these are just some of my favorites and among the best.

Piers Morgan lands Beyonce interview

Piers Morgan has landed an interview with Beyonce. The 46-year-old chat show host confirmed that the singer has agreed to be interviewed for his CNN programme, Piers Morgan Tonight. Taking to Twitter, he teased fans that he had secured an hour with ‘one of the biggest stars in the world’. “She’s agreed to sit with me for the hour and talk about everything,” he wrote. “She’s beautiful, phenomenally talented, and at the top of her game. “And even better, we’re doing it in my hometown of London. She has a one-word name, a voice from the gods… and the single greatest ‘booty’ in showbiz history. “Yep… Beyoncé. World exclusive, for the hour. That’s why I’m excited.” The interview will air on June 27, the day after she headlines Glastonbury Festival.

Beyonce is not pregnant

Or so her mother, Tina Knowles, claims… maybe she’s just having a bit of an old-age complex. This is what she said on the matter: “The truth is that’s it’s not Beyonce that’s pregnant. It’s me. I’m kidding y’all. I’m 56. No, no the reports are not true. Not right now … With all the rumors, by now I should have 5 or 6 grandchildren.” It’s a good thing that she starts with a joke… we wouldn’t want to have to doubt her credibility. Still, isn’t it a pity to say something like Beyonce is not actually pregnant? After all of the joy and happiness it caused in the household.

Beyonc to headline Glastonbury 2011?

R&B star BeyoncÃ© is in talks to headline next year’s Glastonbury Festival, according to reports. The Single Ladies singer has reportedly been in negotiations with Glasto boss, Michael Eavis, to discuss the possibility of performing at the 2011 festival. If she signs up to appear at the event, she will be following in the footsteps of her husband US rapper Jay-Z, who performed at the British music festival in 2008. A source told UK newspaper the Daily Star: “After all the furore over Jay-Z playing Glasto, it went off brilliantly and he had a wonderful time. “BeyoncÃ© was, of course, in the wings soaking up the atmosphere and told everyone how happy she was at Worthy Farm.” The insider added: “Getting her to perform in her own right seems the ideal next step.”

Who needs Los Angeles or New York, when you can go to Schuylkill, Pennsylvania? This is probably what Jay-Z and Beyonce thought when they decided to relocate to a multi-million dollar home in the Pennsylvanian county. If they thing that they’re going to get away from the paparazzi so easily… they might be right. But then again, Jay-Z and Beyonce probably have no idea of the kind of crowd they’re getting into. The people of Schuylkill might not be ready for such a big change in their daily lives. The two should tread carefully, there’s no telling what events might ensue after their presence there becomes a reality.

Beyonce still dazzled by her Grammy success

She’s probably the only one though… it seems that Beyonce still can’t wrap her head around how many awards she managed to win at this year’s Grammy Awards. This is what Beyonce said on the matter: “I am still overwhelmed by Grammy night. I can’t believe I set a record. I am so thankful to everyone – my family, my friends, the label. I have worked so hard and it seems that it all paid off in that one night. I am still shaking.” The label had something to do with Beyonce’s success? Strange… awards are usually given for value, not origin, are they not? Well, this certainly explains a few things, now doesn’t it?

Well, everybody has to do something with their time. But this is not a new occupation for Beyonce, no! She’s already done it and now she’s here to tell everybody that she’s damn proud of it too! This is what Beyonce said regarding her music: “I am most proud of having written songs that became anthems for young women. I realize that in these songs I am saying so much of what young women want to say.” Yeah, but that must mean that some of the young women who Beyonce inspired so much might be getting on in years… and they might not be so into her music as before. After all, you have to stay in tune with the times!

Probably after he got bored of being such a successful rapper and business man, Jay-Z decided he might seek out other talents with which to amuse himself… and perhaps profit from them a bit. Jay-Z said the following about his new career direction: “I’ve got a whole plan. I’m gonna get me a little Serato set, some DJ software. I’m gonna work on that for six months, then I’m gonna find out which DJ makes the most and charge double and tour, do bar mitzvahs, weddings.” For a successful business man such as Jay-Z, that’s not much of a plan. But hey, there comes a time in every man’s life when he should just settle down with his own DJ board and have some R&R… Beyonce can do all of the singing from now on, anyway.

Lady GaGa and Beyonce teaming up

It seems that a track list for Lady GaGa’s upcoming release, “The Fame Monster”, has been made public and one of the tracks is listed as featuring Beyonce. Now, while all of this is probably mutually advantageous, why would Beyonce actually accept to have her name on Lady GaGa’s release when that release is called “The Fame Monster”? This is the really puzzling issue here. But then again it’s not like she’s going to be noticing the correlation between the two… probably the ones who will be buying it will not be aware of the subtle irony there either, but Lady GaGa knows… probably.

Beyonce Sued by A&F

Beyonce Knowles has been slapped with a fierce court battle with Abercrombie & Fitch because the clothing company claims that there’s something stinky about the singer’s soon to be released fragrance line. A&F filed a federal lawsuit against Beyonce, claiming her upcoming line of products called ‘Sasha Fierce’, which includes a fragrance, is a knock-off of their own line of perfumes which is simply called ‘Fierce’. In the suit, A&F claims that they sent Beyonce a cease and desist letter in 2008 when she started applying for ‘Sasha Fierce’ trademarks. Here’s the thing though, both Beyonce’s camp and Coty, the company working with her on the fragrance, says that the fragrance line doesn’t carry the name ‘Sasha Fierce’ and that the name is still actually being decided upon.
