Oasis star Liam Gallagher was thrown out of a VIP bar just minutes after his BRIT Awards acceptance speech.

The 37-year-old had earlier picked up the BRIT Award for Best BRITs Album of the Past 30 Years on behalf of his former band Oasis.

While on stage he threw his microphone into the crowd and then gave his award to the audience.

However, after he left the stage he was thrown out of a VIP party after pushing over a female model, who had been painted silver to look like one of the prestigious gongs.

Her boyfriend was nearby and confronted the rocker before security stepped in.

A source said: “It was outrageous what Liam did. It upset a lot of people.”

The BRITs Hits 30
Coming Soon

The famously successful rapper and businessman is going to be present and performing at next year’s BRIT awards. A source has been quoted as saying the following about Jay-Z’s pefromance at the BRITs: “Jay-Z is confirmed as one of the key performers. In weak years there have been problems securing the big international artists. But knowing Jay-Z was there will help to secure other big acts.” So Jay-Z is a sort of middle man in the event actually, he’s just there to lure the bears to the honey, isn’t he? And does he just get to perform as a bonus, or are the producers really interested in his artistic abilities?

Katy Perry made her way to the 2009 Brit Awards this past Wednesday where she picked up the Best International Female award. But immediately after picking up her award from Lionel Richie, she raced backstage and puked. Katy took to her blog the next day to give us the info on her sickness. She wrote “Last night I was sweatin it out (ew t.m.i.) but yeah, lets just say this kitty does not look so pretty right now. Let’s see… we have the vick’s vapo rub (always a must) and thera flu… a zpack… cold wash clothes on standby and tons of water. I have the doctor on speed dial if the fever gets over 101/102. I thought I was invincible and then my body decides to show me other wise. I’m stuck in bed for the next couple of days as I should be. Im upset because Top Shop is right around the corner and I can’t move outta my sweat bed. Fucking flu. I guess we are all human. I can’t wait to come back to the brits next year… and not puke.”
