Britney Spears recently released a sneak peek of her music video “I Wanna Go”. The 32-second clip shows the 29-year old pop singer wearing a studded white jacket with hot pink streaks in her hair, standing on top of a cab and taking out the paparazzi by flinging around her microphone. Now that’s one way to take your aggression out. Britney also took to her Twitter to announce the full video release, saying “Shame on me to need release! I-I-I-Wanna-G-O-O-O video comes out June 22nd. #IWANNAGO” Britney looks absolutely gorgeous in the sneak peek and I can’t wait to see the full video.

Britney Spears keeps on showing people why they should pay those ridiculously high-priced tickets for her upcoming world tour. The pop singer first gave an interview to ET and then invited different top bloggers to witness a tour rehearsal. The latest promotional effort was a TV interview with ITV1’s “Daybreak”. Britney talked about what we can expect from the tour, how she keeps in good shape and tons of details about her stage. Britney also gave a few seconds of the “Gimme More” performance. If you’re keeping track, it’s been four years after the infamous MTV Music Awards. Britney has also uploaded a video on her YouTube channel which shows the tour dancers rehearsing.

Nicki Minaj took the stage to perform at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards which was held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas this past Sunday. The rapper, who was introduced by country singer Taylor Swift, started out the performance with her latest single “Super Bass”, before launching into her rap verse for the remix of Britney Separs’ “Till the World Ends”. And just as she did with Rihanna earlier in the night, Britney graced the stage to launch into a performance as well. It’s just too bad that you can tell that Britney wasn’t singing live. It ruined the whole thing for me.

It seems that the singer was getting a bit under the weather due to the fact that her “S&M” song just seems to have come and gone. So Rihanna is going to try to revive it by creating a remix. And of course a remix requires a visiting artist to actually make the song seem like it is new. To this extent Rihanna asked her fans on twitter who they would like for her to work with on the new “S&M” remix and most of them went with Britney Spears. You would’ve thought Lady GaGa was a more interesting choice, but the people have spoken and Rihanna isn’t going to deny them. So it is very probable that a remix for her “S&M” song will be out really soon with Britney Spears as the guest star.

It seems the singer, as well as her father, are being sued by Brand Sense partner LLC and this lawsuit has to do with Britney Spears’ ninth fragrance “Radiance”. It seems that Britney Spears and Jamie Spears are being accused of being “sneaky and underhanded”. This is part of what can be read in the lawsuit statement: “Britney secretly made a separate deal with Elizabeth Arden in a sneaky underhanded effort to circumvent and evade its obligations to Brand Sense. Effectively, Britney improperly and illegally cut Brand Sense out of the Elizabeth Arden deal.” And the sum the singer is getting sued for is nothing to sneeze at either: ten million dollars. But surely Britney Spears’ army of lawyers will handle this situation to her advantage.

Despite the announcement being made on Good Morning America, Enrique Iglesias will not be heading on tour with Britney Spears. A rep for the Latin pop singer said “Enrique has great respect for Britney and is a longtime fan of her work. He is very sorry for the confusion this might have caused to anyone.” I wonder why he pulled out suddenly. Enrique is currently on tour in Europe to promote his latest album “Euphoria” and he plans on continuing his solo tour. In other news, Enrique was also recently approached for a hosting gig on Simon Cowell’s US version of X Factor.

Britney Spears has a couple of bonus tracks for her upcoming album “Femme Fatale” which is set to hit stores on March 29th. Out of the bonus tracks, the best in my opinion is a song called “He About to Lose Me”. The Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins-produced song is purely epic. I can’t even understand why it missed making the final cut of the original track listing of her album. I definitely think that it has the potential to be a single and be a hit at that. I wonder if the pop singer and her team would consider releasing this as an overseas single.

Another snippet from another “Femme Fatale” track has been posted online. This time, you can enjoy a few seconds of Britney Spears’ new song “Criminal”. The track was produced by Max Martin and Shellback and it’s so different from any song that you’ve heard from the pop singer thus far. However, it’s also quite good. If these snippets keep coming at us, we’ve all been pretty much been given a free sneak peek at her whole album. It could be a good thing or a bad thing. It really depends on whether you like what you hear or not. Why can’t March 29 come faster?

Britney Spears teases fans with another snippet of a brand new track from her upcoming album “Femme Fatale”, which is due out on March 29th. The pop singer took to her Twitter earlier this week to release the 20-second sneak peek for her new song “I Wanna Go”, which she confirmed to have been produced by Max Martin and Shellback. The production is super hot but I’m not entirely sure about Britney’s heavily auto tuned vocals. I’m hoping that it’s either just for that particular part of the song or the whole thing actually works with that treatment. Regardless, I think she has another hit with this one.

It seems that the singer’s choreographer understands just how utterly excited her fans are about the Britney Spears’ new music video for the single “Hold it Against Me” and has decided to speak up a bit about it, in anticipation of the grand moment when it will be released. This is what he had to say on the matter: It’s not necessarily that she hasn’t been dancing, it hasn’t been what I get from her, and what I seem to get from her is this tigress quality. And she prowls. She really dominates when she does my choreography, and that’s what I wanted to get back. Excited yes, scared no. I can tell you that Britney is wearing a couple of hats in this video — not literal hats, but she’s playing roles in this video. That is what I can give you. In every role, she is dancing. She is going to be dancing throughout the whole video.” Well it certainly looks like Britney Spears’ new music video is getting ready to disappoint on a pretty large scale.

The singer is apparently going to start shooting for her new music video for the song “Hold it Against Me” this week, but that’s not all. It seems that Britney Spears has decided to work with the best, or who is considered the best these days so she got Jonas Akerlund to direct the video. Apparently he is the genius behind Lady GaGa’s “Telephone” and “Paparazzi” videos. Britney Spears probably wants to make a more than notable comeback. Hopefully Jonas Akerlund won’t let his fame get the better of him and wheel out a clone for the singer… that is if he is not secretly part of some plot with Lady GaGa to take over the video charts.

If you’re sitting at the edge of your seat waiting for when Britney Spears’ new album is going to drop, I’ve got some news for you. The pop singer’s seventh album will allegedly be released on March 15th. Sony’s official site has a link where you can pre-order Britney’s new album with the mid-March release date. With her latest single “Hold it Against Me” already breaking records, I can’t wait to hear the rest of the album. I can only hope that the rest of the music is as great, or even greater, than the first single. How about you?

January 10th, 2011 by Evan

Although very little has leaked about Britney Spears’ upcoming album, “Jersey Shore” star DJ Pauly D has apparently had the privilege to hear the new music in advance and he has nothing but praise for the pop singer. The reality TV star said “Britney’s awesome. We have the same management, and that’s how we meet a lot. Her album is amazing – like, I can’t even believe it. I will be playing her tracks in the club, they’re so good. I think this is gonna be one of her greatest albums. Everyone’s steering towards dance and everything like that, and she’s like, right there. That’s how I judge good music, is where I’m gonna play it. Like, ‘alright, I’ll play that in the car or I can play that in the club’. You can definitely play her stuff in the club. Although, she has some tracks you can play in the car, too.”

Britney Spears’ new single “Hold it Against Me” was rumored to be coming out on January 7th. However, that may not be the case as the pop singer’s manager Adam Leber took to Twitter to shoot down the “misinformation regarding the release of [her] 1st single.” He said “Don’t believe everything you read, unless of course it’s an official announcement coming in January. STAY TUNED….. That said, the single is DEFINITELY coming in January. Sorry guys, but never pay attention to unofficial announcements. Just trying to clarify. Please don’t ‘hold it against me.’” If it’s not coming out on January 7th, when in January will it be?

Britney Spears took to her Twitter on her own birthday to treat her fans to some great news – the pop singer’s new album is coming out in March 2011! The pop star wrote “Just wanted to thank all of you for the amazing birthday wishes you guys have been sending all day. My fans mean the world to me & waking up to all of your wishes really made me smile, so here’s something that I hope will make you smile… I’m almost done with my new album and it will be coming out this March. I AM IN L-O-V-E WITH IT! Ok, off on a romantic weekend with Jason for my birthday. xoxo Brit.” That’s definitely great news.

The singer who only just recently celebrated her birthday was supposedly so moved by the good wishes from her fans that she decided to reward them with the release date of her upcoming album. This is what Britney Spears wrote on twitter on the matter: “Just wanted to thank all of you for the amazing birthday wishes you guys have been sending all day. My fans mean the world to me & waking up to all of your wishes really made me smile, so here’s something that I hope will make you smile… I’m almost done with my new album and it will be coming out this March. I AM IN L-O-V-E WITH IT! Ok, off on a romantic weekend with Jason for my birthday.” It’s very optimistic of Britney Spears to be in love with her own album since not all of her fans may end up feeling the same way.

Forbes’ list of highest earning females in Hollywood has been released and it’s interesting to say the least. Oprah Winfrey took the top spot again this year by banking over $315 million from her media empire. That number completely topples that of almost the rest of the top ten ladies combined. Beyonce took the runner up spot with $89 million while the third, fourth and fifth place went to Lady Gaga, Britney Spears and Madonna respectively. Rounding out the top 10 were Sandra Bullock, Ellen DeGeneres, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, and Judge Judy. To all you dreamers, take note. Singers and talk show hosts make more money than actresses.

Britney Spears is currently hard at work on a new album and the pop star is not messing around! I already got excited when I found out that the singer has enlisted the help of Max Martin and Dr. Luke to produce her album and there are more good things about it coming out each day. The most recent news to come out is that Britney is also working with William Orbit, the man behind Madonna’s string of hits off of the ‘Ray of Light’ album. There’s a huge amount of talent backing Britney up and it’s sure to make her next album epic.
