That’s too bad because whoever chose to not watch missed an amazing set of performances. Performers included Queen Latifah, David Cook, Jason Mraz, Carlos Santana, Black Eyed Peas, Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart, Cyndi Lauper, Keith Urban, Steve Martin, KISS and Queen. Of course, every single one of the Top 13 was also there to perform. It was a great showcase of talent.

Carlos Santana who has enthralled the world with his exploits for decades is amongst the latest celebrities to make Las Vegas his new home that after signing on the dotted line in a deal that has been finalized at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The whole deal is part of a the rock star and his band taking over Hard Rock Hotel & Casino as they will be performing there well into 2010. It is believed that Carlos Santana will perform three shows a week as a result of the new deal that he has agreed to with entertainment giant AEG Live.

The guitarist has said: “I’m ready, I’m inspired, and I’m ready to roll up my sleeves.”

Gee I think this man is getting way too old to hold a crowd together in Las Vegas, he is great no doubt but then I feel in recent times is music is not in sync with the changing times or what’s left is he will keep performing old golden hits and make a living in Las Vegas.
