And not just sad, but a little angry too as it seems that stores aren’t really selling his new album, or so Chris Brown thinks. This is what he wrote on twitter: “im tired of this shit. major stores r blackballing my cd. not stockin the shelves and lying to costumers. What the fuck do i gotta do…WTF… yeah i said it and i aint retracting shit im not biting my tongue about shit else… the industry can kiss my ass” Actually, Chris Brown probably wants the industry to kiss his ass more than anything since that would probably solve his current issues. He just doesn’t know how to ask nicely.
Well, even though Chris Brown decided to lay low for a while and not look into the ladies, Rihanna seems to be at the top of her game as sources say she has recently been seen dating Tristan Wilds. One source related the following about Rihanna and the actor: “No one knew why Tristan was there initially, because it was not an industry party — it was very intimate. But everyone quickly realized they weren’t meeting for the first time, because they were openly affectionate for everyone to see…He’s a real gentleman. She likes him a lot, and it shows. From the moment he walked into her party, Rihanna lit up.” Well now… talk about seeking protection. Looks like Rihanna quickly got somebody to take care of her… you’d think she was the one that would play it slow. So, who damaged who again?
The chain of talks continues and what Rihanna has to say comes out more and more baffling than before. Apparently, she felt like Britney Spears after she got attacked by Chris Brown. This is how Rihanna explained it: “I went to sleep as Rihanna and woke up as Britney Spears. That was the level of media chaos that happened the next day.” She’s giving herself way too much credit… as far as media attention goes, it was pretty much an open and shut case. That picture of Rihanna that got on the internet did rouse a few extra sparks, but nothing serious. Look at Michael Jackson’s death: now that’s a media fiasco to live by!
The domestically-violent rapper has recently announced on his twitter web page that he will be going on a small tour… just for the fans. This is what Chris Brown wrote: “BOUT TO START A SMALL TOUR SOON.. 15 TO 20 DATES.. MY FAN APPRECIATION TOUR. just for yall.nothin bigger than 4,ooo seaters.” Oh, the modesty of it all! Just think! Only a maximum of 20 dates… only 4000 seats… Chris Brown really does seem to be taking his baby steps in getting back into business. And how thoughtful of him to do this for the fans… if he still has any more of those… that probably why the venues are so “small”.
Chris Brown started his community service, donning an orange and red baseball cap while cleaning up the roadside last Wednesday. The R&B singer even went on his Twitter before going to do the work saying “on my way to community service…”. We’ve gotten a clue as to how his days of hard labor go as according to authorities, “Brown begins his 8-hour work day at 8:00 AM when a Department of Corrections bus picks him up, along with 30-40 other offenders. Brown will wear a reflective orange vest and pick up trash and litter along highways and roads. He’ll also have to trim brush along medians, remove gang graffiti from the VCU campus, and wash the inside and outside of law enforcement vehicles.”
It looks like Jermaine Jackson has finally come to his senses. After Chris Brown, Mary J. Blige and Natalie Cole said that they had no plans on performing at the tribute concert for Michael Jackson in Vienna, the concert has now been postponed. Jermaine said “Numerous stars were just not able to change their schedules to make a live appearance at the Vienna event possible… therefore we decided, after careful consideration, to change the date of the tribute concert to June 2010 – just a few weeks before the first anniversary of his untimely death.” He has no choice but to postpone considering he has no line up.
Apart from Chris Brown being sentenced to five years probation and six months of physical labor last Tuesday, a judge also gave a five-year restrictive order that would prevent the R&B singer from having any contact with Rihanna. After the order was imposed by the court, the Barbadian beauty’s attorney told reporters “There were no surprises this afternoon. Rihanna was advised of the plea agreement before it was entered. She did not object.” Her lawyer also said that “She’s doing fine, she’s pursuing her career. She’s tremendously appreciative that her family, friends and fans throughout the world have supported her.”
Wrigley is formally terminating their relationship with Chris Brown. The chewing gum company had previously suspended their campaign with the R&B singer in February after the assault on Rihanna, saying they “believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen.” But after pleading guilty to felony assault last month, Wrigley has given Chris the permanent boot. The singer may have dodged doing hard time in jail but losing endorsements would seem to be a harder hit as he fails to earn money. He should really start thinking of other fallback careers by now. I doubt that he’s going to last any longer.
It seems that the singer will not be getting any delays on his preliminary hearing as his lawyer had hoped. Chris Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, was unsuccessful in appealing to the California Supreme Court in intervening in the felony assault case and it seems that Chris Brown isn’t going to be able to get a breather before the whipping from his former girlfriend, Rihanna, starts to kick in. Can you believe it? The legal system is actually working at an accelerated pace… Rihanna must have some pretty well-spoken friends considering how things are going. Too bad the hearing will not be televised… it would’ve made one hell of a show.
Rihanna isn’t buying into any of the nice gestures by her ex Chris Brown. At Game 4 of the NBA Finals in Orlando last week, a source tells the New York Daily News that she attended the game because of Magic forward Rashard Lewis whom she apparently has a crush on. There are also rumors that the singer is having a romance with Lakers center Andrew Bynum but a source slams that saying “Ri and Andrew are just friends, and they have been for a while. It’s Rashard who she wants. She thinks he’s hotter than hot.” What about her rumored boyfriend, rapper Drake?
Chris Brown has a lot more to worry about than just going to jail over beating up Rihanna earlier this year. It turns out that the douchebag singer has been getting a couple of death threats. According to reports, the authorities believe that the threats are legit. A source revealed that they have been coming from a group called “Women’s Protection Action League.” Some threats even say that the assassin would be posing as a member of the paparazzi. Chris isn’t taking the threats lightly as he won’t go out without a minimum of three visible bodyguards. An LAPD insider also adds that Chris has three or four undercover guards along with the visible ones.
The court has officially ordered Rihanna to appear at the hearing for Chris Brown’s assault charges and to be on call as a possible witness. The Barbadian singer’s attorney, Donald Etra, confirmed that Rihanna has been served a subpoena and has been ordered to appear. He also said that Rihanna will comply to be present for the June 22nd hearing. You can just bet that she will be called upon to testify. I can’t wait to finally hear her side of the story. Everyone’s talked about the whole incident except for her. She’s going to give a very pivotal key for this whole thing.
The singer will apparently be testifying against her former boyfriend Chris Brown if she will be required to do so. Her lawyer, Donald Etra, released the following statement about Rihanna’s participation in the Chris Brown case: “The District Attorney has advised me that she will be subpoenaed to testify. I will accept on her behalf. She will appear in court, and if asked to testify, she will do so. Rihanna is doing fine. She’s monitoring closely the proceedings of this case. She is continuing with her career and moving on with her life and doing great.” Rihanna apparently has it in for Chris Brown. She should however consider the fact that he is not the vicious, sharp-toothed monster that that unfortunate event might have made him out to be. Correction, he “ain’t” all of those things.
I must say most of us are all sick and tired hearing about the impending case involving Chris Brown and Rihanna but law takes its own course and this time it is Chris Brown who will have to make a an appearance at a criminal court in LA to enter a plea to the charges levied against him for hitting his girlfriend Rihanna.
The incident took place some 2 months ago on the eve of the Grammy awards night where the couple was scheduled to perform but both of them could not make it to the pre-eminent music awards night which caused a flutter in media circles.
It seems that the American judicial system is favoring Chris Brown and the proceedings have been so slow paced that it’s as good as justice being delayed though the hilarious thing here is that the victim does not seek justice.
I assume Rihanna could well be a fault herself but that in no certain ways means Chris Brown has the right to beat her up. Let’s see when this crap story finally comes to its rightful close.
Sources are saying that Chris Brown would cop a plea but only to a misdemeanor and with no jail time. It’s being said that the singer’s people have consulted with outside legal eagles who have said that Rihanna’s own aggressiveness takes it out of the felony category. Sources are saying that it was the Barbadian singer who was the first to strike after she saw the text message from another woman and that Rihanna was fighting Chris as he punched and hurt her. Legal experts say that the case does not demand a felony plea because of that. On the other hand, there are cases in which the woman engages the man in a fight but the jury convicts the male because it was an unfair fight. The photographs of Rihanna after the fight show just how superior Chris’ strength was and that could present a problem for him.
Shocking new evidence has come out about what happened in the car the night that Chris Brown allegedly beat Rihanna. LAPD detectives notes from a search warrant in the case have leaked. According to the notes, Rihanna read a 3-page text message on Chris’ phone from a woman. An argument ensued and Chris allegedly tried forcing Rihanna out of the car but couldn’t because she was wearing her seat belt. Chris then allegedly shoved Rihanna’s head against the passenger window. When she turned to face him, he punched her and continued punching her while driving. Blood spattered all over Rihanna’s clothing and in the interior of the car. Chris allegedly told Rihanna “I’m going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see.” Rihanna then called her assistant and left a message saying “I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there.” Chris replied to that saying “You just did the stupidest thing ever. I’m going to kill you.” I really hope that he is found guilty and sent to jail.
The dress that the singer was wearing when she was supposedly attacked by Chris Brown has been taken by the police as evidence because of the fact that it had bloodstains upon it, as a source relates: “The police took Rihanna’s dress into evidence because it had bloodstains on it.” I don’t know why they even bother, after all Rihanna wants to make up with Chris Brown even after that nasty incident, so all charges will probably just fade away. And besides, who’s to say that’s Rihanna’s blood? What if some of the allegations are true, and it was actually Rihanna that attacked Chris Brown? Talk about a turn of tables then.
The drama surrounding Chris Brown and Rihanna is still raging on. In the aftermath of his arrest for domestic abuse, the singer has been dropped and suspended from his Wrigley’s gum ads and his MILK ads have also been pulled. Now, a radio station in Cleveland, WAKS FM 96.5, has pulled all music by Chris from airplay. Java Joel, the station’s evening host said in a press release that “After the alleged incident the phones exploded. It’s all that people wanted to talk about. They were outraged at this alleged behavior and wondered why we were continuing to support his music. I agreed and immediately pulled all Chris Brown songs from my show until this thing shakes out in the legal system.” That’s when the station’s program director to pull all his music from all the station’s shows entirely.
Chris Brown has canceled a string of events associated with the NBA All-Star Game this weekend in Phoenix that he’s scheduled to be at. The events included an All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday and introducing the players of the All-Star Game with Phoenix Suns star Shaquille O’Neal on Sunday. There is also a concert on Saturday at Club Rain in Scottsdale that was scheduled but it’s not going to happen either. It’s time to lie in the messy bed he made. He better be prepared for all the consequences. No one does that sort of thing, especially to Rihanna, should get away with it.
Rihanna once again proves that she’s a good girl gone bad when she performed on stage in a red and black number at the RDS Arena on Wednesday in Dublin, Ireland. This was the Barbadian singer’s first performance after she shook up the internet with the recent pool shots of her and Chris Brown having a romantic vacation. Chris is one very lucky guy.
