It looks like the forces that be are trying to send Michael Lohan a warning about his not so honorable ways… either that or Lindsay Lohan found a very, very good voodoo witch. Whatever the case, her father had a bit of a scare recently due to a pre-stroke he apparently had. His new girlfriend related the following about what happened: “He had chest pains all day and pains down his left arm.” Apparently Michael Lohan is fine now and he’s going to think really long and really hard about what he’s done… but he’ll probably forget all about that in a week or two. It looks like Lindsay Lohan didn’t pay the witch enough.

Billy Corgan rattling the cage of snakes

It looks like the singer from Smashing Pumpkins likes to play with fire… a lot. He recently commented on the new Hole album and on the band’s key member, Courtney Love. This is what Billy Corgan said: I have no interest in supporting her in any way, shape or form. You can’t throw enough things down the abyss with a person like that.” Oh contraire… Courtney Love is actually a walking abyss that eats everything up and spits out explosions. One would shudder to think what she will have to say to Billy Corgan after his unflinching defiance… or maybe even do.

Simon Cowell rates himself very highly in the sack

Simon Cowell, 50, would have no trouble scoring himself a nine – in the bedroom.

Cowell, strongly rumoured to be newly engaged, has boasted to Piers Morgan: “I’m a nine out of 10 bed” in an ITV-1 television interview that aired in Britain over the weekend.

Cowell’s rumoured fiancee, Mezhgan Hussainy, is a 36-year-old makeup artist on American Idol and a former refugee from Afghanistan.

Cowell, the top-earning US television star known for his cynicism, revealed a touchingly romantic side. He called Hussainy “the one”, opening up to his co-judge Morgan: “She’s very special. You know when you’ve found somebody very special.”

The Sun newspaper reports Cowell, worth an estimated £120 million, gave Hussainy a £250,000 sparkler and sought her parents’ blessing for their reportedly upcoming marriage.

J-Kwon is Missing

Rapper J-Kwon, most known for his 2004 single ‘Tipsy’, has reportedly been missing for almost a month. His label, Gracie Productions, recently released a statement which said “J-Kwon is a big part of the Gracie family, and we are obviously increasingly worried and want to make sure he is OK. We’ve already received thousands of e-mails from fans and supporters who are worried about J-Kwon, and we want everyone to know how much we appreciate the love and support. If anyone has seen J-Kwon or has access to him, please let him know we are worried about him, and to please let us know everything is OK.” His label has set up a Twitter page so fans with any info can contact them.

Nothing is well in the Jackson clan

The way things are going in Michael Jackson’s family, you could swear he was drawing all of the media attention so that nobody would notice it while he was alive. It looks like Jermaine Jackson’s son, Jaafar Jackson, recently bought himself a stun gun. The boy is only thirteen years old, so how could this happen? Well, it looks like the Jackson estate is currently populated by Katherine Jackson and Jermaine Jackson’s former wife who have to take care of nine kids. Certainly Michael Jackson’s mother has her experience backing her up, but she’s not as young as she used to be… so the end result, little Jaafar gets a stun gun, which he can use to hog all of the good stuff whenever any of his brothers or cousins aren’t sharing fairly.

Whitney Houston surprises daughter

The singer who is currently touring in Australia announced at her latest show that her daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was going to be celebrating her 17th year and Whitney Houston dedicated her daughter’s favorite song to her, even though it wasn’t in the program… and despite some of her last performances, the crowd was pretty impressed with her. But the surprises weren’t over. This is what a source related about Whitney Houston’s birthday plans for her daughter: “They rented a beautiful boat and took a four-hour cruise all around Sydney Harbor with Krissy’s friends, the dancers and family members. That was the pre-birthday celebration. The cake at the concert was a complete surprise to Krissy. She had no idea!” Now there’s a way to make a birthday special. And no cars or expensive gifts and parties required… well, just a little cruise. But Whitney Houston could probably teach a thing or two to some others about their children.

Despite a few health problems that might have prevented her from performing last night, the American Idol contestant clearly demonstrated that this old bird is not licked yet. Her rendition of “Long As I Can See the Light” by Creedence Clearwater Revival pretty much knocks the judges off their seats… even the infamous Simon Cowell admits to it: “I completely misunderestimated you from last week. … This was like the moment we realized with Kelly Clarkson that we’ve got a really serious artist here.” Misunderstimated? What devious plans are running through the Earl of Exigency’s head one must wonder… but whatever they are, it does look like, at least for this week, Crystal Bowersox is safer than any other of the female contestants.

Travis Barker pays tribute to late pal DJ AM with tattoo

Travis Barker has paid tribute to his late pal DJ AM by having a tattoo in his honour.

The Blink 182 star recently posted a picture of the new tattoo on his Twitter page after it was completed by celebrity tattooist Mister Cartoon.

Barker, 34, was close friends with DJ AM and they became united in grief when they survived a plane crash in 2008 that left two people dead.

But in August last year, AM, whose full name was Adam Goldstein, died of an accidental drug overdose and reports claimed he had a relapse following the crash.

Barker’s new tattoo says: “In memory of DJ AM.”

Bret Michaels has released a new single called ‘Nothing to Lose’. In the track, Poison’s lead singer teams up with Miley Cyrus, singing the chorus together. Disney’s reigning teen queen said “Bret and I had a great time in the studio together just hanging out and making music. He’s is so passionate about music and it shows. I think it is such a rad collaboration because it shows that two artists that seem so different on the outside can come together and organically create something that we are both proud of.” She’s probably the only one who thinks that because everyone else thinks that the song is inappropriate with lyrics about wanting to undress Miley. That’s just creepy.

Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton will make it work

Quite the fair amount of determination on their behalf it seems… the Pussycat Dolls singer and the formula one driver are absolutely determined to make this relationship work out the second time around. This is what Lewis Hamilton said on the matter: “She’s away focusing on her album and she’s got a couple of pretty cool things coming up. If she can come and she surprises me then fantastic, but I know that she’s got work so maybe next time. You make it work, you do all you can, you know? When something is worth it, you do it.” Right… how come it wasn’t worth it the first time? Maybe the races aren’t so hot this year so why not try to give it another shot with Nicole Scherzinger… ironically, she might turn out to be the one who’s going to call it off on account of work.

The singer recently declared her all out opposition of flat shoes. This is what Lady GaGa said on the matter: “I would rather die than have my fans not see me in a pair of high heels. I’d never give up my wigs and hats for anything. You see legendary people taking out their trash, I think it’s destroying showbusiness.” Right… as to how flat-shoes are destroying show business, that remains to be seen. Still, those who don’t quite take a shine to Lady GaGa will be happy to know of this intimate little detail… just think of the possibilities!

Katy Perry is similar to Taylor Swift

The singer recently had an interview in which she compared herself to the rest of the female pop world, namely Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Kesha and Taylor Swift. This is the conclusion Katy Perry reached: “Sometimes I really feel like I’m more of a Taylor Swift. She tells stories, and I think that’s why she resonates with a lot of people. She hits the hidden chord in them, ‘Oh my God, I’ve been through that too,’ or ‘You said it in a way I could never explain.’” Interesting views Katy Perry has on her own music… or that of Taylor Swift’s for that matter. Still, if that’s the case, how come Katy Perry does not share her counterpart’s success? What dark, evil force has made that possible?

New Music from Ice Cube

After taking a hiatus to work on his acting career, Ice Cube is finally coming out with a new studio album. The rapper broke the news via his blog recently, saying “‘I Am The West’ is the name of my new record. After completing about 65 per cent of my music, this is the new perfect title. This shit is cocky, no apologies, West Coast gangsta shit. I can’t help it. That’s what I do… June seems too tight for a release, but July is very doable. We’ll see how things go. Now that I have my title, I can work on the concept of my photoshoot and artwork. I want to provide.”

Ex-Nirvana drummer wants horror flick actress to play him in Cobain biopic

Ex-Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl wants a veteran Hollywood actress to play him in an upcoming biopic about the late Kurt Cobain.

A Foo Fighters frontman, Grohl, 41, says he wants 60-year-old Shelley Duvall to play his part in the slated movie about Cobain. According to imdb, Duvall has not appeared in a movie since 2002.

Grohl, said: “I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m crossing my fingers that Shelley Duvall plays me. Shelley Duvall in The Shining. That is my face, you cannot get any closer than that.”

Grohl was quick to explain his feminine choice. “I am probably the least manly dude that you have ever met in your life. So why not have Shelley Duvall play me?”

But he may have been channelling the high art choice of a leading actress for a rock flick. “Put a beard on her. Cate Blanchett did it in the Dylan movie,” he said.

Robbie Williams kicks cigarettes for Ayda Field’s ticking clock

Robbie Williams, 36, caved to pressure to quit cigarettes from his fiancee Ayda Field.

The UK Sun newspaper reports Williams, a 60-a-day man, cut back on cigarettes and is now getting by on just 10 per day. Williams and Field recently became engaged as the former Take That singer felt the upward surge of a career comeback.

A source said: “Ayda is very keen to start a family and knows the damage tobacco can do to sperm. It’s hard for Rob to say no to the woman he loves at the best of times. But it’s even harder when, far from nagging him about smoking, she gives practical support and offers to be there for him when he’s finding it tough. He has promised Ayda he will crack it. Now it’s just a matter of when he’s ready.”

Williams was training at his Los Angeles residence, where he relocated with Field, an American actress. A pal said: “Robbie is training hard. He is enjoying it and wants to do Ayda proud. She’s putting pressure on him to shape up and set a wedding date.”

The source added: “Her clock is ticking, she’s all maternal.”
