Handwoven Rag 2024 Rug, Pink

This rug is woven from a fabric that is Pink with Garden Fairies. This is one of those fabrics that when I look at it, I wonder what other people would have done with it. It doesn't seem suitable for clothing, or quilts, but when cut into strips and made into a rug, the colors play together wonderfully 2024. There are subtle length-wise stripes of black/white/shades of grey.

There is a rolled hem on each end using a yellow and pink striped cotton yarn. I find that the rolled hem is less likely for pets/children to play with (like fringe) and stays neat longer than fringes do.

This rug would be suitable in any room in your home. I would recommend putting a non-slip backing between the rug and hard flooring to prevent slipping. Please test any backing in an out-of-the-way spot. I have found that some backings will react with older vinyl flooring. I don't add non-slip coatings to my rugs, I wouldn't want them to damage your floors.
