2024 Reproduction Spunkmeyer CAT DIESEL POWER hat from the movie Aliens (Restored with new foam) (Aug25th 2022)

Custom "Screen Accurate" reproduction patch sewn onto a vintage NASA hat.
This had previously had the foam rot out, but the rest of the hat was in excellent shape. So I washed this hat numerous times to get all of the foam and foam dust out. I purchased new made foam and sewed it in by hand. Currently the front 2 panels have foam in them. Previously, all of the panels had foam in them. It was a massive amount of work, and I don't feel like doing the other panels at this point in time. Also note that you can see the foam inside the holes of the rivets.

This vintage hat, made in USA is estimated to be made in the 1980s
The "scrambled eggs" on this hat are embroidered on from the factory.

This is a very accurate representation of Spunkmeyer's hat
SCREEN INACCURACY: the underside of the brim is green, rather than black.

I have been collecting vintage CAT hats and patches for 20 years trying to replicate this hat.
