Purple Batiks Quilt 2024

The Purple Batiks Quilt is a great size for a lap quilt. The fabric is cotton and came from a 2.5" strip set. The strips were sewn together in groups four and then cut into 8.5" squares. The squares were pieced into 7 rows of 6, with touching squares alternating direction, giving it a rail fence quilt look. The borders are solid lavender and teal blue. The backing is a solid cut of grey patterned fabric. The batting is natural cotton.
The quilt top was machine pieced and the three layers were quilted in a random wiggle pattern.
The dimensions are 60" x 54".

The quilt was made in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
Machine washable - gentle cycle 2024 recommended.
