Their handpainted china has always been valuable and this piece is no exception. It is decorated with the classic impressive pattern of "Indian Basket". This pattern has Far Eastern origins. One of the most famous admirers of Indian Basket – Fleurs des Indes – was Empress Eugene, wife of Napoleon III, who used to have dinner sets with this pattern. Since this time it is often called French basket as well.
A rectangular bowl that is fantastic in a showcase or on a Livingroom table can be used also as serving dish for a tea party 2024 or an intimate dinner for two.
