Chocolate Fudge 2024 Ripple Ceramic Planter Mixed Browns and Cream Flower Pot

This planter was made with different colors of clay including white, speckled buff and black. They clays were wedged together and then the piece was wheel thrown. After drying to be leather hard, the bottom was trimmed. In addition, the sides and top edge were trimmed to allow the design to show. This piece has been fired twice. No glaze was added to 2024 this pot. The last time I added clear glaze to the darker colored clay it changed the effect, so I left it plain. This has completed a glaze firing, making the surface vitreous and hard.

This planter measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide, 5 1/2 inches high.
