Beetles, bugs, eco painting - 2024 miniature

This original painting from my eco bug series is carefully hand painted using gouache on cardboard. Framed in a solid wood, vintage and re-purposed frame with hanging wire on back. Perfect for any wall in the house!

For each of these paintings I have used second hand frames. This fulfils several purposes - to find very individual/vintage frames which uniquely suit each painting, to be as environmentally mindful as possible and to use good quality frames.

Please bear in mind that some frames are not pristine - but in these cases the knocks/bumps to the frame add to the look and impression of the piece. 2024
