2024 SET OF FIVE (5) early mid-century Alfred Meakin Montcalm, also known as MEA349, hand-decorated bread-and-butter, dessert or side plates. Glo-White ironstone made in England.

Very hard to find, four of the five plates are in EXCELLENT! condition with NO! chips, nicks, cracks or fleabites. The fifth plate has a nick to the edge noticeable primarily to the REVERSE as seen in the last of the photos above. Plates show MINIMAL! crazing (for their age), LITTLE TO NO! loss or wear to the gold filigree or edge and NO! marks or stains.

Decorator's brush marks to reverse in red.

Approximate measurements: 6-1/2" in diameter (measured edge to edge across the front of the plate) with a smooth edge.
