DESCRIPTION
* Vintage purse from 1950s
* top handle bag style: rigid structured frame, flat bottom with four metal studs, folding flap front closure, with turn-lock closure, double Handles
* made with vinyl material, in palm textured pattern
* faded goldtone hardware
* lined with peach-copper satin fabric
* interior has five compartments, two smaller ones in the middle have zippered closures
* the purse has no tag, but I believe it is by JR (Julius Resnick.) There is ads in 1955 promoting Palm textured purse by JR which looks similar to this purse. At least the material is made by Federal Leather Company, who made textured vinyl for handbags in 1950s.


CONDITION
*Overall, it is in good vintage condition with normal signs of use. Minor scuff marks on the vinyl. Some discoloration on the lining especially on the flap, please see the last photo. Last, the purse tends to lean forward when it is empty.
