This hand turned segmented wooden bowl is made from 2 different types of trees found in central Alabama. Each individual piece is precisely cut and glued together and then turned on a wood lathe to get this final result.
The bowl is made from Cypress and Eastern Red Cedar
The bowl is 9 5/8 inches in diameter and is 2 1/4 inches tall
Most, if not all of these woods came from 2024 salvage trees. This bowl is food safe and will make a great item for you to serve in or to use as an artistic piece.
Remember, this is a wood product so please do not immerse it in water or wash it in a dish washer. To clean use a mild soap or detergent, rinse with clear water and dry. If it ever loses it's luster, apply a light coating of mineral oil and polish with a soft cloth. Wax as desired.
