Vintage thick Bakelite Catalin tortoiseshell caramel swirl brown bangle bracelet 2024 wide wood mud retro plastic midcentury boho deco hippie

This thick and rounded bangle bracelet is made of Bakelite/Catalin (phenolic resin) and features a lovely marbled swirl pattern of dark brown in a light caramel brown tortoiseshell or “Mississippi mud” color. It has been simichrome tested and positively identified as genuine Bakelite/Catalin.

It measures 11/16” (just 2024 smaller than 3/4”) wide x 3.5” long and has small signs of wear, typical of retro plastics of this age, but is generally in good condition.
