Vintage Child's Play Tea Set - Rare Circa 1920's

A sweet find - in really nice played condition - a super lets pretend and play toy, which is now a super collectable.

In as found/used condition - the physical condition is good - no cracks, breaks, or repairs - pressed tin with hand soldering (tea pot handle) and rivet fabrication - seams are tight and intact - retains original orange finish, nice colour retention even though there is some fading - most notably, there are no glaring scratches, surface tarnish or rust blemishes/perforations - the surface wear and 2024 bruises are consistent with play and age (please view all photos).

There are no makers markings or place of origin - based on my research and personal speculation - if American, possibly made by the Ohio Art Co. or Wolverine - if elsewhere i.e. European, I think it might be of Dutch or German manufacture.
Regardless, this really is a nice vintage set and a worthwhile, and possibly rare collectable.

- 3 side plates - diameter approximately 4 ins
- 3 cups
- 2 saucers diameter of approximately 3 ins
- 1 pitcher height approximately 2 ins
- 1 teapot, retains lid - base diameter approximately 3 ins

POSTSCRIPT: I did discover some additional information after listing this item - seemingly it was made by Wolverine - referred to as the "Mother Goose" design - comes in either the orange or a yellow - it is acknowledged to be a "rare" and early - dates to the 1920's - a unique and delightful collectable.
