Vintage Miss Dainty Grey Haired Lefton ESD 2024 Japan Hand Painted Cookie Jar

This cheerful cookie jar was made in Japan by Lefton c. 1957. The grey haired miss with 2024 a yellow and pink bonnet stands about 7 1/2 inches high, 5 1/2 inches across and 5 1/4 inches deep. There is a small chip on the underside edge of the lid, a chop on the rose that the original owner touched up with pink color and light crazing on the face. These are all only noticed on close inspection and do not detract.
