This bag is entirely handmade & stitched coiled basket with different possible use (as a purse, as a holiday bag, etc.) made entirely 2024 from recycled / upcycled materials - like old fabric stash, pieces of cotton rope, yarns, threads, scraps of upcycled old clothing etc. The shoulder strap is made from recycled cotton/hemp rope. The recycled fabric is clean, hand cut or torn, carefully wrapped around a rope and coiled to shape. My baskets are unique, one of a kind objects. No two vessels/ baskets will ever be the same. I stitch everything by hand & try to avoid using unnecessary glues. I upcycle old textile because I want to reduce the waste that goes to the landfills and make the clothes last as long as possible. I am fascinated by colorful threads, fabrics, patterns, inspired by nature & art, driven by creativity. My baskets are natural, eco-friendly in nice soft forms that can fit different outfit because of the mixed colors & texture of the incorporated recycled textile, yarn and threads.
All items are made by me in my smoke and pets free studio.

When I get a custom order for a memory basket, I hand-craft my memory baskets/vessels from the client's favorite fabrics, clothes (baby/kids clothes, baby sheets or adults T-shirts, shirts, dresses etc. (sent to me by the client in prior) in my atelier in Maarssen, The Netherlands. I combine the different fabrics and threads adding a calm background or bright highlights to accentuate the unique character of the clothing, while using the patterns in my baskets to showcase the clothes as a whole new form/ object, bringing them to a new life.

USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS: When you receive it and take it out of the shipping card box - it might be slightly deformed due to it's softness. No worries - it is the main benefit, it can not brake, so just use you hands to fix gently the shape and it is ready to use it. Beware: If the vessel/ basket is exposed constantly to direct sunlight most fabric colors fade and the vessel is aging faster so please avoid as much as possible direct sunlight! Also keep it away from heating or fire! Remove the dust regularly outdoors only via gently shake and beating, In case of a stain - wipe the fabric with a damp cloth using rapid and gentle strokes.

Due to individual character of each custom order & strict hygiene reasons, in general I do not accept returns or cancelations. But in case the item is not yet shipped and you have a solid reason to cancel the purchase before it's shipment – please contact me and I may find a solution.

I ship worldwide. I am ready to ship within 1-3 business days if you select the ready basket on the photos, but if you order a custom made one - then I need about 2 weeks to make your item first, so please contact me to discuss the shipping time. The mentioned standard economy rate is for packages up to 2 kg with or without track and trace, shipped from The Netherlands. I will make sure your item is carefully packed to avoid any damage. Recently I have been experiencing delays in shipping products to clients (especially out of Europe) due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, shipment statuses may not be updated promptly. In the worst case, in 2020 a shipment from the Netherlands to USA took three and a half months! I am sorry but I am really not responsible for the shipping delays and in such case I kindly ask you to be patient.
The price of an purchased from me item does not include customs taxes or charges (if applicable) for international customers. International customers take the risk of any and all customs taxes and fees charged by their country's customs for purchasing merchandise outside of their country that will be due at the time of delivery of your package. As soon as the items are handed over to the carrier, the risk of transportation, delay, damages or lost is transferred to the buyer. Any difference in the shipping cost due to preferences of the buyer and the costs of any insurance required by the buyer before the purchase – have to be discussed with me and paid by the buyer before the shipping.
