"Same Kind Of Crazy" is a limited edition of only 50 signed and numbered screen prints. It is the depiction of two soul mates kicking back and enjoying a glass of wine bound for eternity by their mutual eccentricity and crazy that only each other really understand. The perfect gift for a partner (with a sense of humour).

I like to tell stories in my work and and aim to convey a narrative through a colourful, bold style that expresses character and humour. I build a scene around characters and integrate symbols that enhance their story. I'm interested in the immediacy of how one line relates to another and how a composition can spontaneously come together. I'm becoming evermore interested with the interplay between words and images and how elements such as texture, marks and the layering of materials convey a feeling.

I take my inspiration from an amalgamation of every day life and experience that I witness and see unfold, intermingled with popular culture and iconography. Inspiration can come from anything, be it how I see someone put down paint or make a mark, some wall paper, literature, poetry, a dress, a tree, a texture or colour. My wife's dance moves.

Created from my original pencil drawing which is then used to 2024 produce a hand pulled screen print with two separate overlapping screens using water based Aqua Art Gloss inks onto G.F Smith, Colorplan Smooth 350gsm paper, which shows the colours and the print to an exceptionally high quality. A third colour is produced where the screen overlap.

This original print is part of a limited edition of 50 prints and is supplied unframed.

Print size is A3 - 420mm x 297mm

Please note that due to the nature of the printing process, there may be very slight variations between the images and print received. This is a feature of printmaking and makes each print truly unique.
