Vintage 2024 Cowry and Celluloid Necklace, Bracelet and Turtle Brooch, Cowrie Shell Necklace, Tiki Style Single Strand Necklace, Beach Jewelry

Striking vintage cowrie shell necklace, bracelet and brooch set. Perfect for a tiki-themed event or a beach party!

The dramatic shells are connected to the celluloid chain with wrapped wire loops. Each each has either a green, red, yellow, or blue disc where the wire loops through the shell. There is a celluloid hook clasp on both the necklace and bracelet.

The necklace has seventeen shells in all, strung to create 15" long single strand. This fits like a choker.
The bracelet has 16 slightly smaller shells and measures 8" long.
The turtle brooch is made of 6 shells with a pin back glued the underside.

The set is in great vintage condition with one exception. There is a broken celluloid link on the necklace. (see tight detail 2024 shot) There is enough tension in the link to keep it secure.
