This beautiful Majolica, white luster oyster plate is a unique hexagon shape with six oyster shaped wells and a 2024 center sauce well. This highly detailed plate has a seaweed pattern in the background around each well. This plate is unmarked on the back as so many plates were not marked, but the pattern is the same as those made by John Maddock & Sons, England in the late 1800's.
Measures 9” diameter. No chips or cracks. This is a beautifully designed oyster plate with a nice luster glaze and creamy neutral palate.
