The 2024 collectible Sylvania Sun Gun SG-1 Movie Light is in great to excellent condition. The movie light is also in great working condition. While the original box does show signs of age and wear, it is in remarkably good condition - especially to still have the inserted pink light rest. Also, an aluminum mounting bracket, camera bolt, assembling bolt, bulb and fuse replacement information, original owner's tag, and original owner's manual are included with this Sylvania SG-1 Movie Light. The original manual shows the electrical cord to be 12' (feet) in length to allow for easy maneuvering. To power up the Sun Gun, there is a white on-and-off toggle-switch on the back. The bracket will work for either right or left-hand mounting. There are threads on the inside of the lower end of the black plastic handle to attach the mounting bracket with the assembling bolt. In addition, there is a "Film Exposure Chart" on the back of the lamp head. While this gorgeous Sylvania Sun Gun Movie Light is ready for its next great movie shoot, it would also make an awesome decorative industrial lamp. While the current "hot" bulb would need to be changed out, the light could be hung from the ceiling, mounted on a wall, or attached to a base via the threads in the end of the handle.

There are no breaks, cracks, loose sections, or repair places on this collectible Sylvania Sun Gun SG-1 Movie Light. There are some vintage wear, age, and rub marks on the light - mainly in the form of discoloration on the inner grooves of the exterior of the lamp housing. The discoloration is most likely due to heat from previous usage of the lamp. Also, the very clean black electrical cord appears to be in great working condition. While there are some surface marks on the black plastic handle, they are hardly noticeable. The original box is still very nice. However, the lower section of the box has a corner that has separated from the end. Also, there is a partially loose corner on the upper section. Even though it has signs of vintage age and wear, the colors on the box along with the accompanying paperwork - and the Sun Gun too - are incredibly vibrant and fresh considering they are nearly sixty-years old.

The decorative possibilities for this gorgeous Sylvania Sun Gun SG-1 Movie Light are many. The display curio or collectibles shelf would be enhanced by the addition of this very interesting electronic gadget. Also, the living area or home office would welcome this Sun Gun Movie Light as a decorative industrial accent lamp - for actual lighting or decoration only - after a bulb change. The original Sylvania Sun Gun box measures 11.5" in length x 6.5" wide x approximately 4" tall.

The collectible Sylvania Sun Gun SG-1 Movie Light measures approximately 10 5/8" in length x 5" wide x approximately 3" deep at the head including the wire grill on the front of the lamp.

The head of the lamp measures approximately 4" wide x 3 1/8" tall.

The reflective area that holds the bulb measures approximately 3" across from inside to inside.

The black plastic handle measures 5" in length x 1.5" deep at the top and 1 1/8" deep near the end.

The black electrical cord measures 12' (feet) in length - per manual.
