Ganesh, a beloved Hindu elephant deity, is portrayed as a mask, handcarved in Nepal. Solid chestnut, deeply carved and handpainted and then "antiqued", although it is not old. Ganesh is a remover of obstacles & believed to help students do well in school. The colorful mask measures 14 inches tall x 7.5 inches across x 2.5 inches deep. A hanging ring is already on the back.
