Vintage 2024 Scandinavian Randsfjord Glass Vase, attr. to Benny Motzfeldt, Free Shipping

For sale is a gorgeous, hand-blown blue Scandinavian Modern vase by Randsfjord Glassworks, Norway, most likely designed by Benny Motzfeldt in the 1970s. The cylindrical vase has been crafted in the typical foamy, organic Benny Motzfeldt style, with color and air bubbles added during the blowing process for random distribution. The rim, though looking black at first glance, actually has a smoke color. The clear bottom is thick, with the pontil mark polished out. Also typical for Motzfeldt pieces: the outside is polished, while the air bubbles can be felt on the inside.

The vase would have had a sticker, as Randsfjord unfortunately did not etch the brand into the glass. We identified the glass through comparison with very similar pieces by Benny Motzfeldt for Randsfjord.

In excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or noticeable scratches.

Payment is due within 48 hours of purchase using PayPal, credit card, debit card, or Etsy gift card. Louisiana residents are subject to 2024 sales tax (amount depending on Zip code).

Shipping, Delivery and Local Pickup:
At the moment, we ship to the U.S. only.
If you require delivery or shipping, please contact us for a quote prior to completing your purchase. Please allow up to 3 business days after your payment has been received for us to ship small items via USPS, or for local delivery. Packing is time consuming and we prefer to take our time rather than to disappoint you with a damaged item. Items requiring shipping by freight may take longer depending on freight company schedules.
Items requiring buyer-arranged pick up that are left longer than 60 days without additional arrangements, become the property of Driver & Goatree Retro.

Shipping small items via USPS:
We ship small items up to the size and weight that the USPS accepts. Small item shipping costs vary depending on the item, shipping method and/or destination. If you purchase an item without contacting us to arrange shipping beforehand, we will invoice you at the time of checkout for shipping costs using the shipping method of our choice.

Combined Shipping: If you buy several items from our store at the same time and they can be shipped in one package without risk of damage, we will only charge you for the actual shipping costs & handling fee and refund the excess shipping costs through Etsy.

Shipping large and bulky items via freight:
We ship freight using one of several freight companies. For large and delicate pieces, we prefer to ship with a professional "white glove" furniture moving service, which includes insurance and which will ensure that your purchase is treated with care and respect while in transit. If you prefer to arrange for your own shipping, we are happy to work with you and your preferred shipper.All shipping, handling, packing and insurance costs are at the expense of the buyer.

Delivery:
We offer delivery of bulky items (sofas, case goods, for example) at reasonable rates within a 150-mile radius of Lafayette, Louisiana. Our deliveries are “curb side” only which means customers will be responsible for unloading and carrying merchandise from our delivery vehicle. Contact us for a delivery quote.

Local Pickup: Free local curbside pickup is available.

Refunds and Exchanges:
We sell vintage items that are often over 50 years old and are used items. Even if an item is described as "very good vintage condition," the item will never be in the condition it was the day it was produced. Although we do our very best to describe the condition of each item we sell as accurately and in as much detail as possible, please do not hesitate to ask us about any additional concerns you might have BEFORE completing a purchase sight unseen. We will gladly provide additional photos and descriptions. Please be sure to confirm that the dimensions of the item you are interested in will be suitable in your space.

We cannot accept returns or provide refunds. All items are sold in "as is" condition. Please ask questions PRIOR to purchasing an item.
