Fully Custom Dietz #80 Blizzard Lantern Electric Lamp - Unfinished 2024

Take a gorgeous primitive appliance to a brand new height with this iconic Dietz #80 Blizzard oil burning lantern converted to an electric lamp featuring the ever popular "Edison" style bulb.

The story behind how this started:
Growing 2024 up as kids (let us be honest still as adults), we were completely enthralled by oil burning lanterns. We spent every Spring, Summer, and Fall in the north woods of Minnesota with the dark night sky lit by nothing more than the moon, stars, a campfire, and several oil burning lanterns listening to late night radio. That love for oil burning lanterns provided the inspiration for this gorgeous customizable Dietz lantern to electric lamp conversion to provide a safe indoor accent light source by way of the incredible squirrel cage "Edison" style bulb.

Features:
60W Incandescent - traditional base "Edison" style bulb producing 200 Lumens (perfect for accent lighting) with a bulb life of approximately 3000 hours.
This lamp comes standard with clear/silver lamp cord and a clear in-line rotary switch to compliment the color; however, we can customize with brown lamp cord and a brown in-line rotary switch if desired.
Standard cord length is eight feet from the plug to the base of the lamp with the switch approximately twelve inches from the base. We can extend the overall cord length up to eleven feet by request at no additional charge based on request, and have the ability to position the switch at any length from the base if desired.
