2024 Vintage 1950 folklore embroidered piano shawl from Slovakia handmade boho fringe

This shawl is a folklore headscarf that was used by the women that lived in the Tekov region in Southern Slovakia. Made from silk brocade it is decorated with silver beads in all kind of flower patterns and is 2024 topped of with some handwoven fringe. As you can see, the patterns are drawn by hand and then sewn by hand onto the green floral brocade fabric, on paper to make it more sturdy.

It is a rectangular shape
