The Art of Velvet/Velveteen Hat Making:

Please note, a velvet/velveteen hat is made up of 11 -14 pieces. Which is First, sewn by hand with needle and thread, while it is heated at every section, to maintain the correct size. When the 2024 Hat is completely sewn. It is taken apart, by sections, and sewn by sewing machine. One Hat can take 30 to 39 hours. But, in the end, it was made with care and will last a lifetime. (I learned to make Victorian when I lived in France from my neighbor, a retired Millineur) She made Hats since the 1940's, no longer with us...
