I love railroad vines on the beach so much that once, when we lived on a Miami suburban street, I planted them on the side of our house and they ran out INTO THE STREET! Had to do a major trimming....

The flowers are amazing and the theme of this painting is to show the wonderful balance between the warm colors of the sunset and the pink of the flowers. And, I loved using pointillism brush strokes to capture the cool colors of the sand.

I did the best I could to accurately capture the painting's true colors in a photograph, which in real life are PERFECTLY BALANCED!
