DESCRIPTION - This handsome, rustic wine rack has the capacity to hold four bottles of your favorite wine. The rack is great for use as your day-to-day storage; my racks are sized so that they are a great way to store wine in a small apartment being both functional and attractive. This rack is equally well suited for use in a modern home setting as well as a more rustic setting such as your camp, lake house, or log home.
MATERIAL - This wine rack is crafted from a great example of live edge Maple. The wood is sustainably harvested and from a local mill, here in Upstate NY. This beautiful rustic rack has great displays of barked live edge, commingling of the darker heart wood and lighter sapwood as well as some beautiful distressed wood - giving this piece a great one-of-a-kind aesthetic.
I have installed felt padding as a way to provide protection for the finish on your table.
DIMENSIONS - The wood is roughly - 1" thick x 6.25" wide x 16" long and stands 16" tall.
FINISH - The wood is treated with 2 coats of hand rubbed oil / varnish blend yielding a low luster oiled finish, giving the wood a very natural 2024 appearance. I do not fill the grain on my projects as I favor the natural appearance of all the wood I work with, as such my racks have an oiled open grain, natural presentation.
