"Resting Post" Great Horned Owls have always fascinated me and I still remember growing up as a kid listening to them hooting in our back yard near Gananoque 2024 where I grew up. This particular piece was "constructed" through photographs taken of old interesting fence posts and visits to the Nature Museum in Ottawa for views of Great Horns up close.

Done completely in graphite, this piece took a considerable amount of time and effort to obtain the softness and many layers of the underlying feathers.

The original was sold to a client in Montreal.

The original was done on fine art paper.

REPRODUCTION METHODS:

All fine art is printed in my home studio using my Epson 7900 Fine Art Printer. All artwork has been professionally scanned at a high resolution and then printed using professional, long-lasting inks that maintain the fine gradients of graphite as well as the bright and vibrant colours of all of my original drawings.

PACKAGING AND SHIPPING:

All small prints the size of 11" X 14" and under are packaged with an acid-free foam core backing and shipped flat in a clear sleeve.
Larger prints are wrapped in double tissue paper and shipped in a tube to ensure no damage comes to your new Art Print.
